Increasingly Disconnected From Reality, Trump Says Putin Meeting Was ‘Even Better’ Than NATO

Politics • Views: 38,705

Trump’s mind has now deteriorated to the point where he’s completely unable to relate to reality any more. Even the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, many Republicans and his own aides have publicly denounced Trump for his servile appearance with Vladimir Putin — but Trump thinks he did great.

Perhaps, for him, it was. Putin no doubt told him nice things about himself, whereas his NATO allies didn’t give him a serious enough tonguebath.

“While I had a great meeting with NATO, raising vast amounts of money,”

“Raising vast amounts of money”? You mean, because everyone reaffirmed their previous committments to try to reach 2% of GDP by 2024?

Donny, you kept the meeting secret. How the hell is the media supposed to know it was a success and gush over a secret meeting?

Oh, because you say so. You need to see your situation in Washington you created. Outside of your lap dogs, everyone is suspicious of your every move.

While you do things in secret what have you ever done good in public that will allow people to think you are doing good in secret?

Awareness…he has none.

Or, he does know how deep he is in and his behavior is only going to get nuttier.

Pulling this over from the previous thread. You’ve got to read it to believe it.

——————

Dig into this story when you get a moment. It’s absolutely nuts.

The tale begins in Hugo, Oklahoma, in 1963, when Wilson was 18 years old. It includes charges of familial murder, a home destroyed by fire, years of amnesia and the start of a winding path that led a young man to a legal career and, now, ambitions to serve in the Arizona Legislature.

Yeah, that was definitely a “WTFF???? quote for me, too?
Maybe Trump meant it literally? Like in, Melania left her piss-yellow wardrobe behind for the maids, and departed with her suitcases stuffed with Benjamins and €500 bundles?

I think yesterday changed the thinking of media outside of Fox and wingnut sites and radio.

All they need is a meaty story for them to gang up one. Yeah, I know there have been plenty of meaty stories and they didn’t get much traction. But it all adds up.

Yesterday they got a huge theme to run with. Trump is a Russian Agent.

And it ties into all the other things they have reported before. It is time for them to start putting it all together.

It’s heart-breaking that, everything America’s been through, the great leaders it has had, the advancement of human rights, the great heroes of our founding, triumph over the forces of slavery and fascism, all of it, has only just led to this. This. crap.

Oh, imagine that. Turns out The Indispensable Country isn’t so Indispensable.

Early in the Administration, I remember hearing some Trumpkin saying that Trump wasn’t gong to go for big, multilateral trade deals, instead preferring multiple bilateral deals.

I thought, “Of course that’s what he wants. Everyone wants their opposition weaker than they are. But why would any country submit to that?” It’s like “Right To Work” - sounds really good, right? Get the same benefits without paying dues? But it only works for the first contract. Once the union’s gone, they screw you, since you’ve forfeited collective bargaining.

Last week, we learned that Trump had offered France a ‘special deal’ if they left the EU. Divide and conquer. France didn’t take it, unsurprisingly, because we’re only like their 3rd or 4th biggest trading partner. I guess Trump thought the rest of the world was as dumb as the factory workers who vote for Right To Work candidates.

Trump is a pussy in person, at least with men. He’s unwilling/unable to confront stronger men, like Putin, so in their presence he’s polite, deferential, submissive. Later on, he blusters.

But this horseshit? Please.

But this horseshit? Please.

I used to have neighbors that had a nasty, barking, growling Rottweiler. If I walked down my back yard near the fence he would growl and bark like he wanted to take my head off.

One day someone left their gate open (utility reader?) and he got out and was walking up and down the street. I went out front and he started to walk up to me tail wagging and no barking. I was a little leery of him, but as he got closer he was all mild and meek.

I walked him to the gate, and he went right into the yard. I pulled the gate shut and he was back in his yard he protects.

A bit later I went out and he was right back to barking and snorting like he wanted to take my head off when I got near the fence. I told him to shut up, I knew his game. Outside the yard you are big wuss.

That’s Trump. All bark. And a big wuss.

Possibly, but remember that wolves are not looking down from above. They’re looking up from below, so a dark moose blends in with the dark tree trunks. Smaller prey like bunnies, wolves look down on from above, so they want to blend into the color of the ground.

Anyway, it’s a hypothesis.
