Denver is such a cool town

I’m out running the Cherry Creek trail
two guys are sitting on a retaining wall
Smoking a rather large bong
Not a care between em

Oh and there was like a ten story high pencil outside our hotel window

Here is the full mini presser Pelosi and Schumer did after their TV meetup with The Don.

They have just shown America what we have known all along about Trump. He’s ignorant, short-tempered and unfit for the job.

The Trump base can refuse to see it, but anyone with a brain that hasn’t seen it on display just got a full show of Trump as President.

Nancy and Chuck set Trump up for this and he so easily walked into his wall.

Schumer: Trump’s temper tantrum will not get him border wall

Skied the Beavers at Arapahoe Basin today for the first time since they put in the new lift. 300 acres of great powder stashes and tree skiing ruined. On the plus side, there’s a chairlift that gets you out of there now, as opposed to hoofing it to the highway and thumbing it back to Pallavicini.

I was in Denver this past spring to see my boys and grand daughters. Went to a dispensary to peruse the possibilities. My younger boy and I pulled up at the local shop and the entire place was parked in.
WTH?….
Guess what the date was?
Yep.

Every once in a while, when I think about what it must have been like to live in the Old West, I think about how easy it could have been to shoot someone down and take their stuff in the wilderness. How many people left home to go to town and never came back?

It definitely took some time for me to get into and the game doesn’t explain very much so I had to fuck around a lot before I could find my stride. My advice is to get the pump action shotgun and the upgraded bandolier ASAP, makes gunfights so much easier. Also after you go hunting with Hosiah and learn to use Eagle Eye take some time to gather plenty of plants and then craft quality food. The big game meat recipes are key to getting the most out of the Deadeye skill. Also you need to use the binoculars to find pristine game for the pristine pelts needed to craft satchel upgrades.

I’m still only in Chapter 2, refusing to do the last mission with John and move onto the next one until I finish all the time of day sensitive side missions.

More advice: If you see someone in trouble, help them, except for that one asshole who “lost” his horse, he tried to steal mine. If you save the guy who got snake bit and the hunter who got his leg stuck in a trap they will buy you anything single item you want when you see them again outside shops in Strawberry and Valentine. So far the only way to open safes seems to be dynamite, so keep some. And lastly, craft some fire bottles, they’re FUN!

No married couple has the answers, because no married couple is identical to another. If I had heeded the marriage advice my parents had given me, I would be divorced 3 times over (or possibly have killed myself depending on which stage of depression I was in at the time). It’s more about finding ways to enjoy the often-bumpy ride so that I can spend as much time with my best friend as other people do with theirs.

Soldiers patrol in Strasbourg, eastern France, after a shooting Tuesday Dec.11, 2018. French prosecutors say a terror investigation has been opened into the shooting at a Christmas market in Strasbourg that has left two dead and up to eight wounded, including several in critical condition. (AP Photo)

PARIS (AP) — The latest on the fatal shooting at a Christmas market in Strasbourg (all times local):

2:40 a.m.

France’s interior minister says a gunman “sowed terror” in three parts of the eastern city of Strasbourg with a shooting spree that killed three people and left six others with serious injuries.

Earlier police union officials had said four people were killed. Officials did not explain the reason for the conflicting death tolls.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said early Wednesday that some 350 security officers and two helicopters are involved in the search for the assailant after the Tuesday night attack.

He told reporters in Strasbourg that France is raising its terror alert level and sending security reinforcements to Strasbourg. At the same time he said the city is lifting its confinement order after hours of lockdown in multiple neighborhoods.

A terrorism investigation has been opened. The motive for the attack is unclear.

I realize it’s Idiot-Ass Ted Cruz, but wasn’t the notion to have the press present at the Oval Office meeting this morning Trump’s idea, not Pelosi’s?
I read somewhere this morning (Twitter, probably, so it has to be real) that the Trump/Pence/Schumer/Pelosi sitdown had originally been slated to be closed-door, but that King Orangeanus insisted on a press pool. Presumably so that he could have his ass handed to him in public, rather than in private….?

Mattand  Dec 11, 2018 • 7:35:55pm

So there’s an article on the Daily Beast homepage titled “Donald Won the Chuck-n-Nancy Meeting. Here’s Why.”

I sez to myself “Self, surely no one sane or intelligent could watch that meeting and come away with the idea that Trump somehow played them. But, zounds, I should read the article and judge for myself.”

Then, like a crack of thunder (the semi-distant kind, not the kind that shakes the house and gives the goldfish a coronary), it dawns on me:

“GOOGLE. THE AUTHOR’S. NAME.”

So I do.

The gentleman’s name is Matt Lewis. He’s a conservative columnist who used to write for the Daily Caller, Tucker Carlson’s former Pretend Fort of Big Boy Journalism™.

Yes. Yes, this person is insane.

Having dodged a bullet and preserved my sanity, I go back to searching for boxer puppy videos on YouTube; a far more productive use of my time than reading that idiotic post.

What a fun day!

Individual-1 had the Dem leaders of the House and Senate into his office for a private meeting and had reporters there, which they weren’t expecting.

“I’ll show them!”, I-1 thought, flexing his deal-making skillz.

An hour later, his near-comatose Veep at his side (thinking he was the bug-blatter Beast of Thrall chanting “If I can’t see them, they can’t see me! If I can’t see them, they can’t see me!”), he left the room, covered in flop sweat.

He had been bested! By a clearly delighted New York Jew and a California Dago wimminz (via Baltimore) whose husband is a real estate guy who has never declared bankruptcy even once!

Then the New York Jew and the California Dago (via Baltimore) went outside and trash-talked him, saying he was an idiot, a ninny, a feeble-minded man-child, and didn’t know Jack Schitt about the Legislative process, given that he couldn’t get his long, wide, thick Wall funded when his Party held both the Senate and the Congress.

How could this happen?!?! It was Zombie Pence! Or Hillary! Or Obama! Or Comey! Or he whose must not be named (a hollow voice says “PLUGH”).

And then a frothy mix of Rick Santorum said he wasn’t taking the COS position that nobody else wants either and his Staff had to say the current ex-COS, a traitorous guy he fired and to whom he was no longer talking, would hang around like Marley’s ghost right through Christianmas into the New Year!

And then it became clear: “Ivanka! Ivanka will take the job and save me!”

Yup, fun day!
