When the only tool in the box is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail.

I’m all for trimming the fat, and for much more use of soft power/diplomacy. But for a variety of reasons, the US military plays a very large role in global security. And right now about the only nation with the ability to take our place, should we retreat, is China. That’s probably not good for the world as a whole.

Turkey will launch a military operation against U.S.-backed Kurdish fighters in northern Syria “within a matter of days,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday, prompting warnings from the Pentagon and State Department.

Washington backs the Kurds with thousands of service members, special forces and contractors who maintain a presence east of the Euphrates River, while Turkey and its coalition of Syrian rebels have mainly stayed to the west.

Turkey will target the east to “save the area from the separatist terrorist movement,” Erdogan said, using his routine term for Kurdish militias.

Client number 3 is furiously scrubbing his timeline in relation to all things Individual Number 1’s personal lawyer.

That’s right. Hannity is busy scrubbing salacious tweets that relate to Michael Cohen, the convicted felon and Trump lawyer. Trump is directly implicated in federal felonies.

Hannity went to Cohen for legal advice. Hannity provides advice to Trump regularly and it’s not beyond realm that they’re coordinating talking points too.

Let’s make this simple for Graham.

1) Trump engaged in money laundering with Cohen (federal felonies).
2) Trump engaged in campaign finance violations with Cohen and AMI (National Enquirer) (also crimes)
3) Trump violated federal law with AMI.
4) AMI admits they broke the law re: Trump and payments. These were in kind contributions that were never reported.
5) That means Trump is in jeopardy on an entirely new set of federal crimes.

Melania Trump is a leading contender for “least interesting person in the world.”

That’s the perverse cherry on the shit cake, isn’t it? It’s not enough that these people are awful. They’re BORING, too.

Trump can’t hold a conversation for more than 90 seconds on any topic more interesting than his own opinion. Melania is simply the worst that developmentally delayed Eastern Europe could ever offer, a social-climbing, status-defined gold stitch window dressing on the ugliest, filthiest instincts of the medieval European mind; the kids are vicious, crude dopes… I can’t speak for the youngest, gods help him, but the rest of them do what? Design handbags? Make everyone miserable?

What the fuck do these people do with their privilege besides grifting to perpetuate it? Think of what any of us would do with a truckload of money, an international reputation, and the Executive, Legislative, and most of the Judicial branches of the most powerful government in the world in our pocket.

They’re failures of character and failures of imagination and, as far as I’m concerned, they’re currently serving as Exhibit-A proof that there is no just god.

The hits keep coming for Trump…

Pelosi absolutely destroyed Trump, and Trump’s claims that he had the votes were always bulkshit. Pelosi knows better than anyone the whip counts in the House - better than Ryan or any of the GOPers. It’s why she’s the most dominant Speaker and party leader from either side of the aisle in decades.

Pelosi is an amazing legislative leader — may she reign for as long as she’s in the House — and may that be many years..

Graham(ish) in a dramatic rage: “Until the President goes out in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoots someone, we are going to stick with him even if that pisses off every Democrat in the Senate and House. That has been the deal from the beginning and it will be over my cold dead body I let that Democratic pack of wolves tear into this President. You can tell them Lindsey Graham said it damn it!”

It’s Miller. That creepy little Nazi shit needs to be removed from power.

Every time King Pig’s legal troubles increase, a new Kill-all-brown-people initiative comes seeping out like sludge within a day. It’s almost like Millennial Goebbels has a stack of these policy changes ready to go….

47
lawhawk  Dec 12, 2018 • 7:05:18pm

What’s the GOP line right now? That none of this matters? That this wasn’t a crime (clearly, that’s just bulkshit since Cohen entered a guilty plea and is getting 3 years for federal felonies, and it would be much more than that but for aiding Mueller’s investigation). Trump is directly implicated by Cohen in federal felonies.

And up next? AMI - the National Enquirer admits to federal investigators that they too engaged in criminal acts to help Trump. Prosecutors gave Pecker immunity, which means that he’s spilling the beans on all the actions that he took to aid Trump - and help throw the election to Trump.

It’s what we long suspected with National Enquirer - and endless series of posts/articles/covers claiming the worst of Clinton and not issuing a single item that cast Trump in a bad light, because they were burying the details.

Nothing Trump supports makes America great; his single-minded goal is to destroy anything that makes us special or good or strong or moral.
