Donald Trump Refuses to Stop Inciting Hatred Against Rep. Ilhan Omar (And All Muslims) [VIDEO]

Donald Trump does so much horrible stuff, I think some of us are starting to suffer from outrage exhaustion; I know I am. How many ways can you describe this monster dressed in a POTUS skinsuit before you repeat yourself? And I think I just repeated myself.

But his behavior toward Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar is one of the low water marks of his disgusting presidency so far. He’s aware that his bigoted incitement is endangering her safety, but he not only refuses to tone it down, he’s getting even more extreme.

Even worse, the entire right wing media/noise machine is cheering him on — and this whole cycle of hatred began with a deliberate distortion of a rather innocuous comment.

There are no sane voices on the right in 2019; the Islamophobic mind parasite now has complete possession of the conservative host. Trump sees this on Fox News every night, his con man instincts kick in, and he exploits the hatred. It’s what he does.

He knows she could be hurt by his incitement. He’s very aware of what his cult-like, violence-prone base is capable of.

But he doesn’t care. If it happens he’ll deny responsibility.

Figured as much. I can’t imagine committing hard to any one candidate this early, though it’s hard not to love Mayor Pete. (mrs. ipsos is completely smitten)

I mostly just wanted a chance to use “Zevon” now that we’re making it a thing.

Saving France’s 850-year-old Notre-Dame cathedral came down to a crucial time window of 15-30 minutes, France’s deputy interior minister has said.

Or the Bushes. You could tell that W definitely did love Laura. Bush was an awful President and that can’t be forgotten but he wasn’t a shitty husband.

If we’re still America in five years, than I believe we will. I’m not saying it will happen in five years, but if we push through Trump - and I think we will - I think demographics will allow one eventually.

You know that chart that was showing “No Religion” overtaking Evangelical in this country, which looked like No Religion was drawing primary from mainline protestant? I just realized that the biggest reason we are not hearing from liberal churches is that they are shrinking to the point where they don’t have much of a voice.

I know of one in Richardson that I’m assuming is liberal. About 12 years ago, when I used to drive by them on may way home, they would have on their digital billboard that they welcomed gays.

Look for either an Episcopalian parish or a Unitarian-Universalist congregation. Those are most likely to be liberal though nothing is certain and the further into deep red you get the rarer they are. That said, I’ve found liberal parishes in the deep south (Louisiana & Georgia) and far west (Montana and Idaho).

There are others. Look up the “Emerging Church”. Some of us are trying but it’s rather like trying to fight the fire at Notre-Dame yesterday with a bucket brigade or pissing in the wind.
