Jeffrey Epstein Kills Himself, or So We’re Being Told

Crime • Views: 32,019

You probably know that I’m no conspiracy addict. But when a very rich, powerful man connected to many other rich, powerful men in a suspected child sex trafficking ring “kills himself” while in custody at one of the most secure facilities in the US, well…

Don’t worry, though, our thoroughly honest and impartial Attorney General is going to investigate.

More is already coming out, and it stinks.

Right wing Twitter is already certain they know who’s responsible, of course.

Oh, they’ll get the whole damn band back together for this one, I’m sure.

Nobody wants to miss the chance to hop back on that hobby horse, even as old and rickety as it is.

It’s a Rorschach test. Epstein’s dead. He did it. Who that *he* is is the question that seems to depend on what conspiracy you’re willing to consider.

It’s also increasingly clear that MCC screwed up by allowing him to be in a non-protective custody/suicide watch section, given that his earlier incident suggested that he might be a suicide risk.

That’s on the MCC, and ultimately DOJ headed by Barr.

Someone screwed up in their analysis and examination of the facts. There was no reason to consider him anything other than a potential suicide risk. That heightened scrutiny would mean more eyes on him and less opportunity to kill himself.

He killed himself is the most likely outcome of an examination. That he was allowed to do so is on the DOJ. They fucked up.

So of course Clinton is to blame. Never mind that the recent info release in the case from the past 24 hours put Epstein engaging in human trafficking at Mar a Lago by soliciting and ultimately getting an underage girl there to go with Epstein to engage in sex acts with men.

Never mind that Lynne Patton who is part of Trumpworld and is in the USG, is claiming the Clintons did it. Trumpworld never met a conspiracy theory it couldn’t amplify, especially to deflect attention from their own wrongdoing (or practically everything else).

Exactly.

Personally, I think Epstein had every reason to kill himself. He was going away for good, and he damn well knew it.

There’s also that final little narcissistic element to it, like the serial killer Israel Keyes, who committed suicide before the full extent of his crimes could be uncovered (we may never know with any certainty how many people he killed) or Fred West, who along with his wife Rose, murdered several young women over the course of a couple of decades; he also chose suicide.

Most recently, there was the case of Ariel Castro, who killed himself one month into his life sentence.

My thinking is that someone blundered in taking Epstein off suicide watch and Epstein took full advantage of it. By killing himself, he avoids the consequences of his criminal acts.

Think of it like Hermann Göring; he cheated the hangman at Nuremberg by taking poison and killing himself. And it was also his final “fuck you” to the victorious Allies……like Hitler and Himmler and Martin Bormann, he chose to leave this world at the time and place of his own choosing - a final act of defiance.

Of course. But by ending their own lives, such monstrous men evade the consequences of their actions.

We’ve seen it glorified in pop culture for longer than I’ve been alive. “You’ll never take me alive, copper!” - who hasn’t heard that line? Or the legendary ending of White Heat……you know the one: “Made it Ma! Top of the world!!” as Cody Jarrett blows himself to kingdom come.

I keep thinking this seems like a mob hit. A classic mob method to get rid of a possible snitch. And Jeffrey Epstein almost certainly was mobbed up, just like Trump. The shit is very deep around this bunch.

No camera. Taken off suicide watch even AFTER an apparent attempt only days before. Right after a big document dump that implicated a lot of people.

This isn’t a conspiracy theory, it’s recognizing that a lot of things about this smell really bad. It could absolutely be a monumental series of fuck-ups, that happens. But with such a high-profile prisoner I just can’t buy that without more info.

37
Mattand  Aug 10, 2019 • 11:24:07am

I’m a little distracted right now, so I’m not sure what the temperature of the room is, but if Trump had Epstein killed, wouldn’t it stand to reason that others like Manafort, Cohen, Stone, et. al. would be dead by now?

I’m sure a rebuttal to the above is “This is different.Epstein may have had evidence that Trump was a child molester.”

My answer to that is: think of all the Trumpanzees and fucking idiot “independent” voters who voted for Trump in your life. Do you honestly think they’d accept that evidence, given every other shred of reality they’ve rejected over the last 3.5 years?

Personally, I don’t think there is. Such severely anti-social/malignant narcissistic personality types as Epstein are entirely likely to commit suicide rather than face the consequences of their prolific criminal acts.

The list is long and infamous: Fred West, Adolf Hitler, Ariel Castro, Herb Baumeister, Andrew Cunanan, Leonard Lake, Loren Herzog, Harold Shipman, etc., etc.

Remember, though - this happened in Manhattan’s MCC, a facility known for severe security measures. The LA Times called it the “Guantanamo of New York.”

Epstein is far from the only high-profile, possibly suicidal prisoner they’ve had and the staff are supposed to be highly-trained experts at this.

R Kelly is there. El Chapo is there.

Those are two other high profile prisoners awaiting trial in the facility.

The place has a long history of problems and high profile detainees.

Until we know more and a confirmed autopsy, it’s an alleged suicide for me.

Nicholas Tartaglione, Epstein’s cellmate:

“On April 11, 2016, Martin Luna, Miguel Luna, Urbano Santiago, and Hector Gutierrez, went missing after last being seen entering a bar owned by Tartaglione’s brother. The bar, Likquid Lounge, in Chester, New York, was the site of Martin Luna’s murder, prosecutors say. Authorities allege that the three other men were taken to Otisville, New York, where they were shot dead.

Prosecutors described the killings of the four men as being “gangland-style,” reports the New York Times.”

Keith Raniere (leader of the NXIVM cult, convicted in June of various crimes, including sex trafficking, conspiracy and conspiracy to commit forced labor) is in the Brooklyn MDC (also a federal hellhole). He’s still alive and waiting for sentencing. At least his victims got some justice in being able to testify against him. While he did have some connections, compared to Epstein he was a loser. Somehow I think he probably did kill himself once the suicide watch was lifted. And it only takes a few minutes. A good example of that is the death of RAF (aka the Baader-Meinhof Gang) founder Gudrun Ensslin, who hanged herself in her prison cell in 1977. There’s photos, which I won’t link, but suffice it to say, she ended her own life within minutes. And that’s all it takes - a few unguarded minutes.

From my understanding of what the law talking guys are currently saying: criminal case against Epstein is/will now be dismissed since he is the only one charged; however, the current civil cases go ahead against Epstein’s estate and no evidence can be excluded from the search of his house since nobody now has any standing to object.

Like everything else, 24 hour wait rule is probably a good idea. However, this really, really stinks.

Naah: if you’re talking about the E. 71st St. townhouse, that’s a prime piece of property: and now (I guess) a significant asset of Epstein’s estate (maybe one of the few left).

My suggestion would be to sell it, and distribute the proceeds to Epstein’s victims (though I’m unsure if such posthumous judgments are legal?).

I think they have to sue his estate now for any $. If he was found guilty and a judge ordered restitution then his property would be sold off.

I would think his victims confronting him with testimony and a sentencing hearing would be of more value to them than $, but it’s not for me to judge. I think there’s too many cats out of the bag for others to escape justice and this whole sordid tale to come to light. But Epstein denied his victims and that’s the shittiest thing about it to me.

Not a lawyer, but: the current civil suits by his victims will now be against Epstein’s estate. I imagine the executor of the estate will have to liquidate the property at some point to pay off judgments. I’d assume there will be more lawsuits filed in short order by anyone with a possible claim before his estate goes to probate.

Also, this raises an interesting point: who is the executor, and would he/she/they be replaced because of the, uh, special situation. Also, will they find all of his money, and what kind of extremely interesting information would that investigation turn up?

This “justice denied to the victims” line assumes all victims are exactly the same.

I know with someone as rich and powerful as Epstein I wouldn’t want to go up on a witness stand, and then again when he appealed his sentence, for as long as his money could carry on a case. Tearing apart every little detail about my life, dissected by the press, all sorts of conspiracies made up about me, death threats, you name it.

There are many reasons rape and child sexual assault victims don’t come forward, and that’s one of them: The public’s endless fascination about knowing every detail of your life, and a defence attorney impugning your credibility.

The last thing I wanted as a child fifty years ago was to get dragged out into public; all I wanted to do is get away.

Comic relief:
Congressman Louie Gohmert opposes gun control because gay marriage leads to bestiality

Speaking on gun control, U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas says why limit the number of rounds in a magazine because “it’s kind of like marriage when you say it’s not a man and a woman any more, then why not have three men and one woman, or four women and one man, or why not somebody has a love for an animal?”

So, gay marriage means you could marry your horse? Well, Gohmert’s wife married a horse’s ass, so I don’t know what his complaint is.

The executor is in no position to defend the “did he or didn’t he do what he’s accused of” part of the case, so that’ll speed things up. He/she can only argue how much compensation is appropriate, and figure out how to distribute assets if there’s not enough to go around (we don’t know yet how many claimants there’ll be).

Lets find someone of impeccable reputation to find the facts and verify the film, for example why not Robert Mueller? He seemed to get into every corner.

That would be interesting, if only to see Trump completely lose his shit over it.

Personally think Epstein was given the Dahmer treatment, namely the guards knew he was a suicide risk and just looked the other way. Could be for any number of reasons, from disgust for his crimes to just not wanting to deal with him, and so the only “conspiracy” was an informal agreement that if he made another attempt then there would be no rush to stop him.

From the sounds of it, there’s not much that murdering Epstein has really prevented. Short of his turning evidence in the hopes of leniency from prosecutors, his death has actually made it possible for the courts to move faster on the release of evidence gathered in the investigation. And his co-conspirators continue to face prosecution, so his death has not prevented prosecutors from moving forward. So far, it seems the only thing that his death has prevented is the victims suing him personally, forcing them to instead sue his estate instead. Not to mention that his death will only bring further scrutiny on the whole matter rather than less.

Really, it seems a safer bet to just assume that he did commit suicide as a last “Fuck You” to his victims.

If he felt that he’d been prevented from doing a thorough job, I don’t doubt that he would have said as much. The idea that he was going to hand down indictments for Don Jr and others was ours, so to suggest that he was prevented from such is less about DOJ corruption and more about Mueller failing to live up to our wishes.

This is the key to the stupidity of conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theorists are able to believe in their theories because their ability to handle cognitive dissonance is such that they can partition off the two conflicting statements in their heads. Normal people see the conflict and understand that the whole thing is moronic on its face.

Elliot Richardson (until he was fired October 20, 1973, then Robert Bork was Acting AG).

As for the OLC memo, it seems to have been drawn up by low level staffers.

This is the actual memo, signed by Deputy Attorney General Robert Dixon of the Office of Legal Counsel, dated September 24, 1973.

The OLC exists to give legal opinions to the DOJ. It does not represent law, and the whole idea presented in the original memo is a farce on the rule of law.

Did we expect the Trump Wedding Planner to post anything else?

Jeffrey Epstein, the multimillionaire accused of sex trafficking, was found dead in his New York jail cell Saturday morning in an apparent suicide. Details of his death emerged first through ABC News and quickly circulated among New York media outlets, but Lynne Patton, regional administrator at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, had another idea of what happened.

Hillary’d!!” she posted on Instagram around 10 a.m., alongside a screenshot of a Daily Mail story that described Epstein’s manner of death. She added the hashtag, “#VinceFosterPartTwo,” a reference to the former Clinton aide whose death by suicide has fueled conspiracy theories for more than two decades.

She achieves this the same way she’s able to plan and manipulate everything while having brain problems, seizures, and dying of…everything, simultaneously.

At this point, I think these fuckers are literally cribbing strategy from Eco’s “13 Ways of Looking at a Blackshirt.”

Hillary would never say “to Bill and I”…that is MAGA grammar…

Might be worth putting that up everywhere that fake quote appears (I first saw it as an altered tweet).

Might get #MAGAgrammar trending …

What the hell is BNL News?

It exists as a Twitter account; it stands for BreakingNLive News.

It’s part of a group called UpdaterTU which has been suspended from Twitter.

It is cited on the feverish right in places like gab (dot) ai.

McConnell will run a fear campaign saying how his opponent wants to give you health care, raise the minimum wage and improve the social safety net which a crapload of Kentuckians rely on…..and it will probably work…

There are a ton of people in that thread telling him to “burn in hell” and whatnot.

Others suggesting he change his name.

Meanwhile, the media is starting to pick it up:

I never got that “God-fearing” part of religion. They claim “God is love” (rather than “love is love”). If that is so, why be afraid of love? And if he’s all-powerful, why does he need a political party?

Well you can thank the Hunt Brothers who initially put up the seed money to start Old Man Falwell’s Moral Majority and Robertson’s KKKristian KKKoalition!

Which was initially outlined in Powell’s infamous memo to eventually dismantle The New Deal!
