So, I was saying downstairs (pbuh Aminah, I was CLd), over 140 years of weather records, not once did it get to 100° F in Denver in September. Until today.

Prime Minister: This Is the Worst Day of My Life

As Abaco continued to be pounded by Hurricane Dorian, a catastrophic category 5 storm, Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis cried as he described today as the “worst day of his life” and expressed hope that those who refused to evacuate will survive the storm.

“This is probably the most sad and worst day of my life to address the Bahamian people,” he said during a press conference at the headquarters of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

“As a physician I’ve been trained to withstand many things, but never anything like this.

“We’re facing a hurricane… one that we’ve never seen in the history of The Bahamas, with wind velocity as high as 180 mph, with gusts in excess of 200 mph.”

He noted that Bahamian homes are built to withstand winds of up to 150 mph.

“So this will put us through a test that we’ve never confronted before,” he continued, adding that storm surges are projected to be as high as 20 feet.

When I was growing up in Denver, it was really warm when it hit the eighties. Ninety almost never happened, and a hundred was pretty much impossible. Pueblo and Grand Junction would hit a hundred and we were impressed.

So, a hundred in Denver in September? Supremely fucked.

No, not really once you’re past Sunday school. Prayer is half meditation and half conversation ( remember Tevye the Dairyman) and half thankfulness for everything that is, good bad or indifferent.

Wasn’t Tevye the Dairyman a fictional Jewish character in a story written in the XIX Century, adapted as “Fiddler on the Roof?”

My comment on prayer was Christian prayer.

Do some Christians think of prayer that way? Sure, I guess.

How many churches of all denominations call for God to inspire or bring about the conversion of the whole world (as interpreted by them of course)? Wouldn’t that be “telling God how to do his job?” Or prayer to spare those in the path of a hurricane (when not praying to divert a hurricane)? If it’s God’s will someone should die in a horrible storm, why are prayers offered to change his mind?

re: #570 Decatur Deb

In contrast, most of the many places I lived as a child are urban-renewed parking lots and sports stadiums (stadia, for the finikey). We were the last chance to wring an occasional rent out of a neighborhood after the better brothels left and the bulldozers arrived. Screw nostalgia.

LOL “after the better brothels left.”

The home in which I spent much of my childhood years (my maternal grandparents’ home) went from having no running water and a two-digit telephone number to something resembling modern by the time I left.

Now my eldest first cousin owns it, and she has changed it far from what it was. The view of the village is the same, but no longer feels like home.

Polygamy Porter and actual polygamy both illegal in North Carolina, alcohol board says (Charlotte Observer)

The state alcohol board rejected an appeal by the Utah makers of Polygamy Porter from selling on-tap beer in a single location, citing immoral or illegal acts are not permitted on beer labels.

Let’s see: I would imagine you can get Blackheart Rum in North Carolina (which depicts a sexy pirate lady which some might argue is “immoral” and piracy is most certainly illegal).

The company which makes it is considering a court challenge on I Amendment grounds.

I’m going to take Teleskiguy’s advice up there and back away slowly, since some subjects are too touchy to discuss here.

I’ll just note I lost visitation rights over my child and was rendered homeless because of my lack of religious belief (along with demon possession due to my epilepsy), along with being disowned by most of my family and frequent death threats from people I don’t know.

All of Christianity, and hence all Christians, are evil. That appears to be his belief because of the evil ways some (even many - I’m not denying those scum) treated him. Hence my comment earlier about his inability to see any nuance between X christian and Y christian. He really doesn’t like it when you point out that he treats Christians the way fundamentalist Christians treat Muslims.

Honestly, I’m not sure we’re worth it. We have many many flaws. It’s just the best place I’ve found for me. All I know sometimes is that the rhythms of the book of common prayer (my personal one is a modern english 1549) sing to my soul in a way nothing else does.

I learned today of a young woman, 21 years, who died on August 27, 2019. An OD of heroin on what was apparently the first time she tried it. I am going to say the office of the dead for her and then go to bed. Take care all.

Every time this comes up, I am misrepresented.

I have made this comparison before, but it gets intentionally ignored here.

When a woman sees a strange man, she might take certain precautions such as crossing the street or look for potential escape routes. It’s not because all men or most men are evil and wish to do her harm (or that she’s a fundamentalist against men like fundamentalists Christians are to Muslims, to use your tortured analogy), but because she doesn’t know how he’ll treat her.

The same goes for me when someone I don’t know says they’re a Christian. The overwhelming majority of Christians aren’t destructive douchecanoes who blow up abortion clinics, federal buildings, churches, and Olympic venues, or threaten to kill anyone.

But some do in the name of their faith, and I don’t know which one is which without knowing them. A better analogy is that of the woman above.

I really need to get off to bed now after rum o’clock. I also need to take a break for a few days. Catch y’all later.

Yes, we know. You’ve told us, more than once.
As you back away, please stop long enough to consider this:
No one currently commenting on this site has attacked you for your beliefs or lack thereof.
William’s reaction was actually pretty mild for the kind of provocation you’ve thrown out on a frequent basis — the phrase “fifth column” comes to mind, among others.
Pretending that his reaction is out of line, with the sarcastic “That escalated quickly” is disingenuous, at best.

You told William Lewis a few threads ago that he was raising a strawman to say you hate all believers. I don’t know you IRL; I can only judge by what you choose to say in this forum — but I would say it’s a justifiable inference from reading the cumulative tenor of your posts. To say that you are excoriating the ‘organisations’ rather than the individuals is a distinction without a difference on the receiving end of a pretty steady spray of vitriol splattered about with a broad brush.

I generally try not to downding. I scroll past a lot of night whinges because there’s no point in trying to argue with fundamentalists of any stripe, believer or non-. I expect to get downdinged. I don’t expect to change any Lizard minds, and I’ll probably be sorry I said anything.

However, I am uneasy watching this kind of rhetoric repeatedly go by in silence, on this site of all others. Lizards who I do not think would generalize all members of a group from the actions of some for any other religion or race seem to feel free to generalize about Christians. Maybe there’s a sense of ‘punching up,’ but it’s no less a lack of respect for the some of the Lizard believers here.

It has a chilling effect on the dialogue when this kind of rhetoric directed at any group goes by in silence, as witnessed by fact that I expect to get down-dinged for saying this. I certainly expect several long screeds justifying the rhetoric.

Yes, the Dominionists are pure D evil. Yes, way too many of the fundies have been sucked into the cult of the prosperity gospel. I have yet to see a Dominionist commenting on this site, and if there are any fundies they’re being pretty quiet.

“Do unto others” is not a tenet specific to any one religion. It is simply a basic code of behavior common to all venues where we interact with our fellow humans. May I respectfully ask for consideration, in a place where we generally try to respect one another?

It doesn’t get ignored, but it does raise a question — how long do you have to know us before you feel you can drop the defensive posture, and the pre-emptive attacks, when on this site? Are there places online where you feel you’ve achieved that safety?

You’re fine. You made a reasonable observation in a measured way.

As an atheist- and, worse, a formerly fairly chatty, and, in certain circles, somewhat well known one back in the days when threaded message boards were a big thing- I’ve struggled with the seeming stridency of people I would normally view as allies, in what seemed fairly innocuous conversations. And this wasn’t just limited to religious conversions.

I think part of the problem is that, while all of us are communicating in written form here on the internet, we are usually composing those posts using a mental narration that doesn’t necessarily come across in a nonverbal form. So, while one may be using a reasoned and patient tone of voice in one’s head, simply describing the issues you have, that doesn’t necessarily come across in the acsii text we’re putting out.

When you add to this the very serious discrimination atheists encounter in real life, combined with the also very real apprehension and fear at the bizarre influence that figures like Osteen’s or Falwell’s “gospel of self interested, hyper-focused hate” have on the public at large- well, that can rub you raw enough to forget that the specific person you are replying to is not, necessarily, a part of the problem you are trying to address.

But that’s just me. I’ll admit, “tone policing” is something I’ve learned to live with.

And that Christianity was America’s default and de facto State religion for some time, and it took militant atheists to stand up for the rights of other atheists, non-believers and members of other non-Christian faiths (or even some non-mainstream Christian sects) to finally make it clear that the two should be separated in schools, courtrooms, government buildings and official government functions.

These people are not trying to ban religion from public life, just to remove any sense of favoritism or preference on the part of our democratically elected government.

My husband thinks Trudeau will get reelected. But neither of us expected Ford to win, so…who knows. There is the same wingnut “thought” (mostly in western Canada) along with smatterings of wingnuts, racists, etc., throughout Canada. We are not without hateful people…but hopefully less of us are. Also, I think Canadians are smarter than Americans (sorry, just what I see from personal experience) and not as susceptible to Russian interference.

But it all remains to be seen.

I think you guys are in for a world of hurt. And I am so sorry.

Something tells me we just need to actually go through it before everyone really understands the impact it will have. I’m too young to remember the “Winter of Discontent” late 70s but its effect on the national psyche regarding unions and extreme socialism last today.

My hope then is we come out, everything crashes, we get back in quick, we rebuild for a decade, and everyone says “Never Again!”

Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area. Bermuda is still being pummeled by the worst hurricane to ever make landfall there. Dorian continues to churn in virtually the same spot for a full day - unleashing the full wrath on the same general area for 24+ hours. It’s insane, and the future path is likely to wobble along the East Coast of Florida, Georgia, and Carolinas - perhaps staying just offshore while the winds and rain bands shuffle inland. Coastal erosion is likely to be significant across the entire Southeast.

Trump’s on top of the situation - fighting with the NWS about what regions are affected, and reveling in his sheer dumbassery daily. He stayed in the States rather than going to Poland to congratulate them on the anniversary of the beginning of WWII (the invasion of Poland), and Pence went to Ireland to visit leaders there, but stays at a Trump dump 2 hours away to maximize Trump profits (everything this admin does inures benefits to Trump personally).

We’re all paying for this… and foreign regimes and terror groups and rivals are all taking advantage of Trump.

From what I’m reading, the opposition’s strategy is to NOT have a snap election. The idea is to force Johnson to lie in his own shit, which is appropriate, as the Tories have certainly shit the bed on this one.

It is one of those weird situations that you generally only hear about in banana republics. Boris is telling members of his own party that if they go along with a bill to push out the Article 50 deadline to Jan 31st, then he’ll put forward a bill to force a snap election. But it’s basically a massive bluff, as both sides are pretty much in agreement that they don’t want elections, certainly not in less than 2 months time. At the same time, Farage is telling Boris that if he tries to bring forward any deal whatsoever, then the “Brexit Party” will challenge every Tory seat in said snap election.

I swear to Zod, I’ve never seen a bigger clusterfuck in my life.

Sad truth is if Hillary had been elected she would have been impeached on the spot. Chaffetz repeatedly said she would have been impeached over Benghazi and her e-mail.

The Senate would have acquitted her but the RepubliKKKlans would have thrown every roadblock in the way including multiple shutdowns.

And McConnell would have blocked any judicial nominations she made.

You know Mr. Hawk, the other day when Trump shot his mouth off about actually doing something about mass-shootings (before he was quietly shoved back in line by the NRA) I had this weird thought: What if he actually DID do something amazing out of character and got some sort of sensible policy in place where so many others have failed? Like if he was temporarily possessed by a good spirit.

Would we forgive all his evils?

The thought soon passed as normal Trump service resumed, and I waved goodbye.

That wasn’t my intent…I was referring to education and the ability to critically think. Education is key and Canada takes it seriously and it is reflected in its citizenry.

And that is based on my somewhat limited knowledge from personal interactions.

It’s not a matter of rubes, it is a matter of critical thinking. Shall we discuss Q, Deep State, the CIA is making the weather change, flat earth…and on and on.

I am not saying there are no nuts up here. But they are far less (or maybe far less vocal) than what I see in the US.

His opinion has been unfashionable since Iraq, but Tony Blair pointed recently that a general election is a trap for Labour: If they get in they will have sort out the whole mess. I think somebody in Labour sat up and took notice of that.

I said it about Theresa May; she was like a lawyer with an unreasonable idiot for a client. No matter how many times she advised the country, “You don’t wann do this - you’ll lose - take the deal!” the country kept shouting back, “Nah take ‘em to WHO court!”

At this point, there’s only one of three outcomes:

- No-deal Brexit, which even in the best scenario is still going to cause a great deal of disruption and pain for the nation, with estimation of a decade or longer to recover

- May’s deal with the backstop, which the Leave crowd absolutely hate as it doesn’t get the UK out of the EU entirely and the Remain crowd hate because it means Brexit

- Revoking Article 50, which will leave the country with all the damage and disruption from uncertainty, as well as a white hot anger among the Leave crowd who will feel that their voters were ignored

However you slice it, the UK is fucked for the near future.

A lot of the English language assumes Christianity is the default belief of the speaker and listener.

Ashes to ashes, funk to funky
We know Major Tom’s a junkie
Strung out in heaven’s high
Hitting an all-time low

Early modern English had three huge influences: Shakespeare, The King James Authorized version of The Bible & The Book of Common Prayer.

When I know something is “right” my personal term is “it resonates sweetly”

I don’t get the big deal about presidents playing golf. They used to criticise Bush Jr for that too. Of all the terrible, stupid things Trump does every day, golf seems the last thing to point out.

Is it just the “rich man’s game” association that pushes people’s buttons?

They pick on every president for playing golf, because somehow they’re supposed to do presidenting 24/7 with no break. The reason to pick on Trump is that he does it at his golf courses and is on track to do it nearly 1/4th of his presidency.

Hello from heartbroken Southern California. Our beloved ocean(s) is showing her deadly side this week. That monster storm was bad enough. Now as you all have probably seen we have added human misadventure by way of a deadly boat fire. Dive boat design is about to undergo change, we learn from loss just like with aircraft crashes.

With the unofficial change of seasons, switched up my avatar, a snap from the beach Saturday. Mussel Shoals is one of those private owned with scant public access beaches. The upside was uncrowded even on a hot Labor Day weekend.

Not paying someone else, making the government pay him. The Secret Service has to rent his golf carts, upgrade the facility’s security and communications, etc.

Not only did Obama golf less than half as often… when he did golf, 3/4 of the time it was at military courses where there’s already president-level security/comms in place, and the govt owns the carts. No extra expense.

I honestly feel that Liz made the right call in not refusing Boris’ request, as it seems that the courts now are free to eviscerate him in a way that may have been denied had prorogation not happened. Plus the drama we saw in Parliament today might not have occurred if they weren’t up against a set time limit to make something happen. Deadlines have a way of focusing people’s minds on the need for action, rather than just waiting things out in the hopes that somebody else will step up to take the bullet.

Well, the biggest difference is that presidents don’t have to fear no-confidence votes and can’t call snap elections when the polls are in their favor. The fact that we have elections every four years guaranteed by the Constitution gives rise to the assumption that if you don’t like the way things are being run, you can just wait things out until the next election. And if things don’t change in that election, well then not enough people agree with you that things are shit.

The closest US parallel would be Jim Jeffords (VT). Old-school liberal Republican, but when GWB was inaugurated the Senate was 50-50, with Cheney as the tie-breaker. Demand for party loyalty and bloc voting on issues he disagreed with the R’s about… pissed him off no end. He became Independent, caucusing with the D’s, giving them control of the chamber.

The Conservative Huw Merriman says, if the Tories are going to remove the whip from MPs who rebel tonight, will Johnson also remove the whip from any MPs who do not back any deal he does bring back to the Commons.

(Some of the hardline Brexiters in the European Research Group says, even with the removal of the backstop, they would still find the Brexit deal unacceptable.)

Johnson confirms this would happen. “What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander,” he says.

Tourists boycott Texas as gun laws loosened after mass shootings

Terrified tourists are vowing to boycott Texas after new laws easing gun restrictions were put in place just hours after the state’s second mass shooting in a month.

The eight laws, which make it easier to carry guns in public in the Lone Star state — including schools and churches — went into effect Sunday, the morning after Seth Ator, 36, killed seven in a drive-by rampage in Odessa.

His massacre came four weeks after Patrick Crusius, 21, allegedly slaughtered 22 people at a Walmart in El Paso — meaning four of the 10 deadliest shootings in modern US history have now been in Texas, CNN noted.

re: #182 KGxvi

Since Johnson lost his majority, what exactly does that mean? Is there going to be a vote of no confidence? Yet another new PM? A snap election?

Short explanation: He’s still PM until a vote of no confidence, but he’s effectively been neutered. He can’t move any bills without votes from the opposition, he can’t claim to represent the majority of Her Majesty’s gov’t, and (most importantly) the DUP has been rendered powerless. He could try to form a new gov’t, but at this point it’s unlikely to go anywhere with Labour or the Lib Dems.

Like I said earlier, regardless of how this all goes down, Britain is going to be dealing with the fallout of this debacle for the next ten years, and maybe longer than that.

The EU, as a whole, will probably be dealing with it for a while. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were alterations to Article 50 if there’s another round of EU treaty negotiations, making it even more difficult for members to leave the Union.

Brexit in three paragraphs:

Mr Gove, minister for no-deal planning, had been expected to publish extracts of the document on Tuesday as part of his efforts to prepare the UK for the possibility of Brexit taking place without an agreement on October 31.

Government officials worked throughout the weekend overhauling the Operation Yellowhammer document, and Mr Gove had hoped to use the work to prove that he had a grip on potential no-deal problems.

But, on Monday, Mr Gove and fellow cabinet ministers decided to abandon Tuesday’s publication of the document. “The meeting didn’t go well,” said one person close to the meeting. “The whole thing was seen as far too pessimistic about no deal.”

Very aware of the the limitations of written-only communication, as witness I’m sitting here now wondering if the reference to “tone policing” indicates that you feel I was doing that in my post. If so, I apologize!

And yes, it is frightening and sickening to watch the Pharisees leverage the out-sized influence they’ve gained over the past four decades to consolidate their power, in the name of a religion whose precepts they don’t even try to pretend they practice.

It’s a sore subject, rubbed raw on most of us by now. But grateful for this site where we have bonds that cross disparate viewpoints, and most of the discussions stay thoughtful and reasonable. At least till pineapple and eggplant come into it…

So, Brexit is doing in how many governments in the UK?
Cameron, May, and Johnson.

Cameron led the UK into this fiasco. May showed that the fiasco was unworkable. Johnson showed that the fiasco was beyond farce and chaos.

The only ones who benefit from it are not in the UK or EU, but a country like Russia, who sees its European rivals weakened.

The problem isn’t Johnson. The problem is that Brexit is a cock-up that should be terminated before it proceeds any further.

They’ll slip into a no deal Brexit and no one knows the true extent of the damage that’ll do to the economy in UK or EU, and it’d probably push other parts of the world into a recession as everyone tries to shift to address the new trade conditions. Businesses are already shifting to avoid the UK.

re: #242 William Lewis

Today, we’re sharing the decisions we’ve made that go further:

After selling through our current inventory commitments, we will discontinue sales of short-barrel rifle ammunition such as the .223 caliber and 5.56 caliber that, while commonly used in some hunting rifles, can also be used in large capacity clips on military-style weapons;
We will sell through and discontinue handgun ammunition; and
We will discontinue handgun sales in Alaska, marking our complete exit from handguns.
We know these decisions will inconvenience some of our customers, and we hope they will understand. As a company, we experienced two horrific events in one week, and we will never be the same. Our remaining assortment will be even more focused on the needs of hunting and sport shooting enthusiasts. It will include long barrel deer rifles and shotguns, much of the ammunition they require, as well as hunting and sporting accessories and apparel. We believe these actions will reduce our market share of ammunition from around 20% to a range of approximately 6 to 9%. We believe it will likely drift toward the lower end of that range, over time, given the combination of these changes.

They’re deselected from standing as a Conservative candidate in the next General Election. They can still serve their constituents until then. But come next election, they’ll either have to stand for another party, or as an independent.

What amazes me about Boris’ threat is that, even if his majority wasn’t reduced to zero today, he’s still threatening to create a whole block of independent MPs, and continue as a minority government.

re: #236 BlueGrl21

The Pharisees have rubbed all of us raw, whatever beliefs we have. That’s what we need to remember.

Please don’t use the word Pharisees for these scum. The Pharisees were a devout group of Jewish believers who disagreed with Jesus about details of worship and theology. The primacy of Torah and Mishnah (since both Pharisees and Jesus predated the Talmud) were taken for granted and the validity of arguing about their interpretation was understood. Unfortunately the authors of the Gospels had their own agendas and especially in John’s gospel, the disagreements become more important that the agreements and 2000 years of antisemitism got its start.

The Osteens, the Grahams, the Falwells of the world do not work within that context. They are hypocrites, not Pharisees who are devout but disagreed with. They are, at best, heritics in the sense that what they do is pretend to believe in Christianity while subverting the actual teachings of Christ with the heresy of inerrancy, Calvinism and Darby’s end times not to mention the idolatry of certainty and antisemitism.

Thanks.

It was moments like that which brought me home to the Anglican communion, though I like the 1979 versions language better.

From the New Zealand Prayer Book:

Lord,
it is night.

The night is for stillness.
Let us be still in the presence of God.

It is night after a long day.
What has been done has been done;
what has not been done has not been done;
let it be.

The night is dark.
Let our fears of the darkness of the world and of our own lives
rest in you.

The night is quiet.
Let the quietness of your peace enfold us,
all dear to us,
and all who have no peace.

The night heralds the dawn.
Let us look expectantly to a new day,
new joys,
new possibilities.

In your name we pray.
Amen.

I wouldn’t be trying to equate the way the writers of the Gospels dealt with Jesus and the Pharisees to antisemitism. That’s a totally separate thing. The pharisees there were pretty much about keeping their power, and didn’t really like someone outside their group coming along and challenging everything. The money changers at the temple are an exmple of this. I mean really, why were they allowed to operate there?

I doubt that .308 will go as it is a very popular hunting round. The rest is no loss to the hunting world.

WTF do they mean by short barrel rifle ammunition? I’m not usually one of those who squeals about clip/magazine or the definition of AR but good lord that’s gobbledygook. I’m guessing they’re stopping sales of 5.56x45, 7.62x39, 9x19 & .45acp and similar but that blurb is so dumb I’m not sure.

From the CEO’s statement, that looks like the case. Notably, they are also banning open carry. In Texas this legally requires an elaborate sign in front of every entrance, once again demonstrating GOP hypocrisy about private property rights.

Here you see one of the major differences between a Parliamentary system and the American system.

In a Parliamentary system, the head of state is FAR more directly tied to the party he represents (in fact, they are the ones who choose him or her in the first place) than the American President is.

Because only temple coin could be used to make offerings and there were Jews coming to the temple from all over the known world - Babylon, Egypt, Rome and further. Each would have had their coin from where they lived that needed to be exchanged for coin which could then be used to buy doves or other sacrificial animals for temple offering.

And recall that one reason the Scottish independence referendum failed was over the uncertainty, and the prospect of being left stranded outside the EU with no guarantee of being taken back in as a separate state (Spain would not want to set a precedent for Catalonia)

There is an important difference with the situation in Spain. The constitution Spain adopted post-Franco specifically names the various constituent parts of Spain, including Catalonia, as part of Spain. Therefore, barring a constitutional amendment- which the rest of Spain would not support, any moves by Catalonia to secede would be unconstitutional. However in the UK, the Union of Parliaments of 1707 is a bilateral agreement, from which either side can leave. Technically, Scotland could just declare independence and that would be legal. However it’s generally agreed that there would have to be a popular mandate for this.

Now, there is a popular mandate for Independence in Catalonia (There was a referendum not so long ago, and the Catalonian government declared independence as a result), but it collides with the Spanish constitution. The EU has shown that it’s willing to take the side of Spain over Catalonia, so I expect Spain are less worried now about Scottish independence setting a precedent for Spain, but they might still be wary of pushing things.

Man…this is gonna be interesting.

Letwin says he has proposed his plan because of four facts.

First, the government has not come up with a plan for a Brexit deal, he says.

Second, he says this week is the last chance MPs will have to block a no-deal Brexit.

Third, he says the government has said it is willing to go ahead with no-deal.

And, fourth, he says a no-deal would be a serious threat to the country.

He says Boris Johnson is like someone standing on one side of a canyon shouting to people on the other side that, if they do not do as he says, he will jump off.

Keep following this. theguardian.com

Yes, and it would be a similar story if Ireland were to decide to reunite. In fact, it might be ideal for the EU, as it would create an EU-Scotland-Ireland trade channel, without the hassle of having to go through post-Brexit (whatever remains of) UK.

Also, even during the wait for Scotland to rejoin the EU, it can join EFTA/EEA and be part of the EU single market.

And after a period of time, England and Wales would probably inevitably end up re-joining the EU.

So when all is said and done, Brexit would’ve been all for nothing.

The statement by Walmart CEO McMillon is likely to produce an unprecedented outburst of frothing rage from the usual suspects. I expect veritable armies of gun pedants to take to the net to denounce his apparent reference to the AR-15 as “clip fed” and that will be only the smallest part of it. They have already declared a boycott, which leaves them basically no place to buy groceries since all other big retailers have similar policies. Maybe they can finally try to make use of those legacy seeds and home canning supplies they stashed away for Obama’s eternally pending gun grab. Lots of luck.

re: #254 William Lewis

Thanks.

Understood, will refrain. Thanks.
