Among the 14 alleged counts of fraud in connection with the offer or sale of securities included in the cease and desist order are the following:
Wohl and WCIG falsely represented to Investor 1 that only 20 percent of his investment would be at risk, yet lost approximately 50 percent of his Investor 1’s account value between December 2015 and January 2016, according to the securities commission.
Wohl and WCIG falsely represented to Investor 1 that WCIG managed between $9 million and $10 million in assets, but actually managed less than $500,000, the order said.
Wohl and WCIG misled Investor 1 regarding the risk associated with the investment by representing that a textbook trade for WCIG had a 99.5 percent probability of profit, according to the commission.
Wohl, Johnson, and MAl falsely represented to potential investors that MAl had 35 years of experience flipping single-family residential real estate, but MAl had existed for less than six months, the order said.

On July 27, 2016 through August 27, 2016 Jacob Wohl and Matthew Johnson offered for sale unqualified securities in violation of California Corporations Code 25110 which has a three year statute of limitations

Wouldn’t call it privilege. Bond is only 5K and odds are the State WILL NOT pay for an extradition. I hear this all the time on my scanner. Police will run a check for 99s (warrants) and have it come back that X has a warrant in Y but Y will not pay for extradition. X is then allowed leave.
Lawhawk can correct me if I am wrong, but these types of warrants are generally used to keep a person from coming back to the State as they face arrest/jail if they do.

I paid that for a 3.0 ton installation (new inside unit w/ gas furnace/blower/coil, outside unit 16 SEER, Trane) in Dallas a few years ago. I’ve heard the price of new installs is going up due to the sunset of older refrigerant. I was recently quoted 10K for a similar install.

You don’t loan a gun to a friend who doesn’t own a gun, because they almost certainly are not familiar with guns (because if they were and could legally own a gun, they probably wouldn’t need yours). 230 grain FMJ at 6 feet range. It passed completely through without hitting the bone. There was a lot of vascular and some muscle damage, major and potentially lethal blood loss, as well as a huge ugly yellow and purple bruise. Still hurts sometimes after 38 years.

Not only is the energy savings worth it, but, to those so inclined (as I am), all “smart” bulbs (Z-Wave, Zigbee, Philips Hue, WiFi, etc.) are LEDs and many of them are infinitely dimmable (and, in the case of Philips Hue bulbs, can easily change lighting colors).
We have several Amazon Echos in our house connected to our Honeywell Lyric and Philips Hue controller…it’s really nice to use (most of the time).

My brother has a gun. If/When we go out to the range, he’s there with me. He’s just not going to just give it to me, because I don’t have a lot of experience with guns. This is the sensible and smart thing to do.
What we should have—and don’t—are the gun equivalent of dram shop laws, licensing laws and insurance requirements. You can’t own a gun without holding a license and insurance. If you lend out your gun, you are responsible (to be worked out similarly to the dram shop laws). I realize this is strict, but I am TIRED, VERY TIRED of people leaving their guns around the house and kids pick them up and shoot themselves or someone else. Someone dies, but nobody goes to jail because we’ve exempted guns from anything resembling serious laws and regulation. (Yes, I’m aware there are some laws, but not near enough). Hell, you can’t even sue a gun manufacturer for a freaking DEFECT—they are THAT protected.

I see that Republicans are making their usual threats to leave the country if a Democrat, especially a woman, is elected President. We should do everything possible to encourage this.
Consider, for example, a Dunkirk in reverse: The new Democratic President Elect announces a 3 day amnesty, starting January 20,. for all Republicans who may have broken the law. They have that much time to get out of the country after the POTUS is sworn in. This should be announced far enough in advance that Putin and the Chinese and anyone else who wants them will have time to send cargo planes, cruise ships, container carriers, oligarchs’ yachts, cattle boats or whatever else they might have to pick them up. The ships would have to wait outside the 12 mile limit until the amnesty takes effect, at which point they may enter US ports for exactly 3 days under strict quarantine: Anyone can go aboard, no one comes off. Of course, particularly desperate refugees will be free to sail, swim, or inner tube out to the fleet in the meantime.

No I will not put that video here. Is there a class beyond “brain dead?”
Irving did falsely introduce the idea Europeans did not know the Earth was a sphere before Columbus, but it was not part of some grand conspiracy for (name something).
Due to Irving’s influence, a lot of schools taught this misconception for many years.
Europeans knew the Earth is a sphere. That’s been know for thousands of years. Columbus just thought it is smaller than it is.
