Problem with that is that a large proportion of the populous would just start demanding that prisoners fulfill the normal length of their sentences *while* being hooked up to the 1,000 year thingie for eight hours a day as well.

Vengence = justice for far too many people. An 8 hour sentence just isn’t sate the blood lust for suffering.

Hell, the only reason they’d take anyone off at all is so they can be raped and beaten by other prisoners and guards. Because that’s funny.

My mother is out of the hospital and the trauma specialists reassessed her case. The blood in her brain was from an unrelated blood vessel bleed, not from falling ~10 days ago. She is at home and will receive physical therapy.
