-Abortion is None of your business.
- Sharing (socialism) is not bad.
- Coveting (Wealth hoarding) is wrong.
- Marriage is Not religious

Are you an Evangelical or are you a Christian? You can’t be both.
And if you claim to be Christian, You’ve failed. and no matter how much you ask for redemption, you continue to fail.

Coveting is the central principle of capitalism.

Glad to see Liz Wheeler is signing up to be a socialist.

Liz Wheeler (goes to RationalWiki).

Wow, she’s “nuttier than squirrel poop” (to quote Juanita Jean).

Does she really think as a Catholic her Evangelical buddies won’t throw her under a bus (or into a reëducation camp) the second they seize power?

2 NY sons watching the Superb Owl.

Good morning!

That’s unseasonable for you, right?

Whereas we’re finally getting back to average or somewhat-below temps here along with some incoming snow this morning.

After 70 at 15:00 yesterday. Had to wear my Tilley hat rather than my thermal to take the dog out. Just a reminder I’m actually almost a thousand feet above Denver.

We still have temps ranging into the mid-50’s and showers along the Rhine, most unseasonable. Saturday we even had thunderstorms and a power outage (most electric lines are underground in Germany, but the terrain here prevents that to a great extent)

Things expected to get back to “normal” (40-ish) by mid-week.

It’s not that Conservatives are too lazy to do research. They are openly hostile to actual science, evidence and facts. Republican talking points are not a benign negligence of truth-telling. Christ. Not sure if this is reliable - it *is* a British tabloid, after all, but the Daily Star claims that Chinese hospitals are stacking the body bags and that a whistleblower got arrested for shooting video of all the bodies.

Chinese authorities have arrested a man who covertly filmed the true scale of the coronavirus outbreak from inside a Wuhan hospital.

The shocking footage was taken inside a medical facility in Wuhan, the quarantined city in China where the killer disease which has killed 361 people.

It shows what seems to be body bags piled on top of each other inside a van.

The man seems to imply there are “eight in total” in the vehicle. He then walks into the hospital ward.

“There are so many dead people,” the cameraman says. “He’s moving bodies here.”

Doctors in hazmat suits can be seen desperately trying to save countless victims.

Can’t vouch for this one. The source seems a bit dodgy. You guys hearing/seeing anything?

Heck, the 49ers aren’t in SFO. They’re in the region, but in a completely different city - Santa Clara, which is closer to San Jose than SFO.

But sure, complain that SFO and CA are in the dumps why exactly? They have more economic growth than Kansas (or Missouri). They are doing a better job of insuring their residents, and have a lower per capita gun death rate too.

At least even Bush laughed at himself with the Bushisms. Trumpisms? Trump does them and then he has these pathetic hacks covering for him. Oh and Matt Schlaap and his wife are about as Washington as you can get. He’s been here since Gingrich’s goons took over in 1994. And he’s from Kansas. And get this the Congressman he worked for until he went to to work for the Bush campaign and administration was none other than Mike Pompeo’s predecessor. His mother is also a former elected official. Nothing blue collar about Matt Schlaap or “From the heartland” about Matt other than how he chokes himself blue competing with the likes of Lumpy for the best excuses for Trump.

Slightly different though, you didn’t touch on how Tucker’s act is fake populist. I mean this is the heir of Swanson foods who acts like he’s in touch with workers. If Tucker ever had to actually visit a place like your hometown or my grandparents, he would look down on iit. Tucker’s a fucking con man. I’m old enough to remember him being a self described proud elitist. But now he’s Tucker the blue collar guy even though Tucker knows nothing about what those families go through. There’s this bullshit that the only working class people are white guys who work in coal mines or steel mills.

Ironically, strippers and sex workers seem to be busiest in cities and times when and where conservatives flock for conferences and conventions.

Talking to the politicians back when I lived in Madison, yeah. The Democrats, OTOH, all seem to be having affairs among each other while the Republicans are making it rain for the escorts and strippers.

Remember the older movie “Same time, next year”? Seems like a couple of good Democrats :)

Hannity: Liberals are racists because they won’t shit their own pants.

Lou Dobbs: We should lock up those who don’t agree with PResident Trump’s brilliant pants shitting initiative.

Hegsmith: I literally have shit on my hands right now, elites! Take that!

And then the agonized divorces with arguments about how to split the book collection.

Ironically, strippers and sex workers seem to be busiest in cities and times when and where conservatives flock for conferences and conventions.

David Letterman once took a camera crew to the stroll to ask a bunch of hookers which party they’d prefer have their convention in New York.

They said Democrats — because most of them want something ordinary, and some of them tip really well. Republicans always want something freaky, and then they try to refuse to pay.
