You know what’s going to be hard? After all this shit has settled, if it even can, we’re still living in a nation with way too many mean,spiteful and fearful people. People whose determination to burn it all down isn’t going anywhere. People who still fear and loathe minorities and women. People who for some really fucked up reasons think affordable healthcare and public schools are of the devil. Anti mask disease vectors and their anti vaccine buddies. How are we supposed to be around and live around these people if we happen to be lucky enough to survive this? The good news is the masks have been ripped off (see what I did there?) and we know for sure who they are. It’s still heartbreaking and angering, but the more info you have to work with the better. But I do wonder what neighborhoods and communities are really going to look like from here forward. Lots of trust has been broken.
