“Sorry” - Lyrics by Danny Elfman

I’m So Sorry…

There isn’t time – for revolution
There isn’t time – to evolutionize or hide
Those things most precious - Our most precious
Things that got erased, corrupted, infiltrated
I’m so sorry – I’m so sorry

I’m gonna try, I’m gonna try
To get away from your compelling
Mist of lies and misconceptions
No protection, no escape
Where I will never have to see your fucking face
You suffocate me

I can’t breathe while you’re alive
I can’t breathe while you’re alive
You suffocate, you suffocate
And I’m so sorry that I didn’t die
Or just evaporate into a toxic cloud

It’s gonna break – it’s gotta break,
It’s made of glass, it’s gonna break
And all the hate that you collected
And infused into protected piles of shit
Glass eyed devotees will flock to your gates
your house is on fire- your house is on fire

Pull it forward – pull it back
Your eyes are empty, cold and black
We gotta break it, we gotta break it
We gotta break that fucking jack whip
on a broken hip – my life is a joke if I can’t even breathe .

Sorry you exist because you suck the fucking air out of my lungs
I am not afraid to die – still alive, still alive
And I won’t let you bury me

Well, goddammit, that was just amazing.

Disturbing, brutal, profane, and black black black, but amazing.

I give it four stars with a .50 caliber bullet.

Even if you had never heard of the Odal rune (and let’s be honest, this design probably was deliberate regardless), that stage still looks like almost 3/4ths of a Swastika.

There must have been at least a half dozen less incendiary designs they could have chosen.

The gap between the arms and the main part of the stage is the really weird part. Why is it there?

Jack Burton, Gunner on Death Star of David  Mar 2, 2021 • 9:57:57pm

I’m not going to get in another debate over whether or not it is a Oþal rune or not, and if it was intentional or not, and who signed off on it or not, because it’s not important.

It really doesn’t matter what shape the thing is they were standing on. They spent several days standing on it saying Nazi shit, and long since have come out of the bunker as Nazis. They are Nazis. We don’t need to be looking for dog whistles and hidden symbolism when they are jumping up and down screaming to the world about their Nazi agenda.

re: #8 Belafon

The gap between the arms and the main part of the stage is the really weird part. Why is it there?

There is nothing about the stage that makes sense.

Straight triangle? Logical and usable.

A rectangular thrust from the AP columns and a triangle on the front of that, giving a truncated pentagon? Logical and usable.

What it was? Stupid on several levels. It prevents quick set changes by constricting access. It prevents ADA access for the same reason. (But maybe that was a feature, not a bug.)

And most significantly, once its rune shape was pointed out, both CPAC and/or Hyatt could have slid in a few risers to make it go away.

But they didn’t. That indicates either intent, or a level of mulish inability to admit a mistake that is pathological.

Whatevs, not my problem to try to explain the crazy. But it *is* crazy.

Night all, sweet scaly dreams.

Belafon  Mar 2, 2021 • 10:28:27pm

re: #10 austin_blue

And their real problem is that they hang out with real Nazis (or Neo-Nazis if someone is going to be pedantic). That’s what makes it easy to think it’s intentional.

hi

I am back from Cheyenne. My hand is a mess (behind the hide bar)

In two weeks I’ve had my hand rewrapped five times, because it’s still bleeding (though that has finally slowed somewhat).

it also ripped open about an inch, gaping about half an inch wide, in which has set in an infection.

I spent about ninety minutes in the hospital clinic while they cleaned it out. They then gave me prescriptions for more pain meds and a new one for antibiotics.

The bruising is clearing up, but they are concerned about the infection. I’m told that if the red from the infection continues down my hand toward my arm, call the VA to tell them, then immediately go to my county hospital for treatment.

Today’s gourmet dine-out was Burger King (I haven’t been to a Burger King in ages) in Cheyenne, and a little Mexican restaurant in Sidney. (Neither restaurant had other people besides the staff in them, because we hit them at off-hours.)

10% of Nebraska have completed the vaccine now.

experience.arcgis.com

The state’s information is still very muddled on how to go about getting a vaccine. (It’s very easy in the cities where they set up vaccine clinics.)

As best as I can tell, only two places are authorised to distribute vaccines in the Panhandle, one in Alliance and one in Scottsbluff (seventy and sixty meals away).

There is a state sign up list, on which I signed up my wife, but I have no idea how that relates to the local distribution centres or when they are available.

Currently Nebraska is vaccinating group 1b (which my wife fits in due to preëxisting conditions according to the federal government). Nebraska has explicitly excluded preëxisting conditions from group 1b for vaccine distribution, which means she goes into group 2a (50-64 years old).

Statewide, we’ve just surpassed 2,000 dead (2,084, 0.1%+ of the state).

Locally, I seem to be the only person in town who has had both vaccine doses (though the store owner and my neighbour have each had one).

Risk of transmission in the Panhandle has been moved to “moderate” (down from “high”).

Five communities are in the “high” category: Scottsbluff, Alliance, Big Springs, Hyannis, and Harrisburg. Three towns are at “no risk” (my town despite three deaths, Lisco, and Llewellen).

In hospital: none
Weekly positivity rate: 7.5% (down from 18.3 the week before)
Deaths: 184
Last week: +31 cases
This week (starting Feb 28) so far: 20 cases

If you watch “The Handmaid’s Tale” or if you read the book, you know the premise is that a fascist Christian terrorist movement has used a fertility crisis caused by environmental disaster to overthrow America and create the new fascist Christian nation of Gilead, kidnapping the few remaining fertile women and forcing them to be “handmaid” sex and pregnancy slaves to elite families, yadda yadda, new season coming out very soon on Hulu!

Well, in real life, we’ve had the attempted fascist overthrow by terrorists in support of a Dear Leader, muchly motivated by a desire to make things The Way They Used To Be (for white straight Christians), but it didn’t work (yet). And we haven’t had the fertility crisis, that we know of, but OH WHAT’S THAT, USUAL SUSPECT TUCKER CARLSON?

Oh my God.

Yes, the graphic says “America’s real crisis,” because Tucker says our “biggest” health crisis — our biggest one — is “falling testosterone levels, which have completely reshaped our society,” and also “falling sperm counts, which may make it impossible to continue the human race.” Tucker is worried about the sperm, y’all. And the testosterone. A licensed psychologist could have a field day with this, and so could a Walmart greeter.

It’s because of the chemicals, he says. It’s very bad, he says.

Tucker’s freakout continues with him saying that according to “one scientist, sperm counts in the western world have dropped 59 percent between 1973 and 2011.” (The researcher is Shanna Swan, and she is actually a legitimate scientist. Dunno how she feels about Tucker using her work as a springboard to have a spontaneous eruption about sperm, or whether she’d view his eruption as, ahem, premature.) Tucker says, “At this pace, sperm counts will reach zero by 2045.”

The dude goes on about “lockdown libido” (meaning people sit around getting fat, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes and maryjane is causing a baby bust).

Siegel wasn’t done:

SIEGEL: So tonight I do have a message for Shanna Swan. She says […] my grandfather had three times the amount of a sperm count than I do, and I say more power to my grandfather!

Wait, whose grandfather and how did we count his sperm?

SIEGEL: She says hunters and gatherers from the distant past had sperm counts THROUGH THE CAVE CEILING!

Wow. Hunters and gatherers could get subscribers to pay to watch that!

SIEGEL: But I have a message for Shanna tonight, there’s something that I’m dealing with, that my grandfather didn’t deal with, and […] it’s LOCKDOWNS! LOCKDOWNS DRIVE DOWN SPERM COUNT, TUCKER!

So this is personal for him, apparently.

So it turns out there was a defect in the year stickers that Nebraska made for car plates to register in November. If the glue gets really cold (like -20°F temperatures we had), the sticker peels off.

The state says they will let anyone with a November sticker set replace them for $5. Thanks, loads folks. I’m betting those of us with cars registered in November can’t sue either (constitutional requirement for a suit to be at least $20, and sovereign immunity for the state government).

By our state statutes, the license plates are not considered valid unless they have the proper sticker affixed.

Photograph your peeling plate for the nice policeman. Or send them 5 bucks.

Next time I go into town I’ll pay the county the $5. See (d)

No person shall attach to or display on such motor vehicle or trailer any (a) license plate or registration certificate other than as assigned to it for the current registration period, (b) fictitious or altered license plates or registration certificate, (c) license plates or registration certificate that has been canceled by the department, or (d) license plates lacking current validation decals.

Plates must also be affixed to the car. You can’t stick them in the front or back windows.

It depends on how bored the police are I guess whether they want to enforce the stickers or not.

Since Gold Star Family plates here are $5 a year, the fine would be much higher than the cost of my license plates. Arguing it in court would probably not get me anywhere.

License plate laws are strict here. Those polarised lenses some people put on cars to keep traffic cameras from seeing the plate? Illegal (if the cops are feeling squirrely, they can impound your car). License plate frames? If they cover up the state name, same goes for that.

Kayleigh McEnany, one of the greatest liars to ever lie nonstop from the White House briefing room, has gone home. She was 32.

She is still 32, because the fucker ain’t dead, she’s just snaked her way into a job lying her stupid face off on Fox News, which is where she belonged in the first place. That’s what we mean by “home.” We assume she is otherwise unemployable, but Fox News will be a good fit, as it is for all the other deplorable Trump morons who end up working there.

Media Matters has a good roundup of McEnany’s greatest lies. She was an enthusiastic, prodigious asshole when it came to promoting Trump’s fascist Big Lie that he won an election wherein he actually got his loser ass stomped. Personally, we will always remember the time she got hired for her job, promised to never lie to the journalists during the briefings, and made it maaaaaybe 15 minutes without lying. Oh, and the Wisconsin Ditch Ballots! That was a fun series of really stupid lies from McEnany, who on top of her lying has been drawing a paycheck for years to pretend she, a 2016 Harvard law grad, is just jawdropping weapons-grade stupid.

Fox News asshole Harris Faulkner announced today that McEnany was joining the Fox News “family” (of liars), but didn’t say exactly what she would be doing. Maybe she could do a new segment called “Make It More Bullshit!” Like, a “Fox & Friends” idiot could say a lie about a genderless Potato Head, or Tucker Carlson could go on one of his shriek-y white supremacist sperm rants, and then they could cut in like “Kayleigh, make it more bullshit!” and she would have five seconds to come up with an even more astounding lie than the one the Fox News host just told. She would always deliver the goods.

Had a bothersome session with my dermatologist yesterday (routine skin cancer burn-off). Wasn’t going to argue with him while he sprayed my face with liquid nitrogen.

That is not a thing, but don’t let inconvenient facts get in the way of a conservative on a mission to whip up fear and loathing.

CHEYENNE - Despite questions from some in the chamber on what exactly the legislation would change, the Wyoming Senate gave initial approval Tuesday to a bill that would require physicians to attempt to save infants born alive following an abortion.

The bill is backed by just about every Christian denomination in Wyoming.

It might be time to find another dermatologist though if he turns out to be an actual pro-plaguer.

The idea a physician would take that position is remarkable to me.

If the person is an anti-masker, then it is very likely he doesn’t wear one outside of work. That puts his patients at risk.

Gotta keep remembering that a dermatologist is not an epidemiologist. Masking here has been generally good, for the little I’ve seen, but the governor is about to decide whether to continue the weak state mandate. At least we’re not Florida, though it’s only 11 miles from here.

And that came from conservatives lying about something Gov. Ralph Northam of Virginia said in 2019, because all conservatives lie.

A meme shared by over 70,766 on Facebook misrepresents comments made by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam in 2019 when he was asked about a bill that, among other things, aimed to ease restrictions for third trimester abortions in the state. The meme falsely suggests that Northam is in favor of legalizing infanticide by leaving out some key contextual references in his remarks.

NIH halts study of plasma in COVID-19 treatment citing lack of benefit (UPI)

March 2 (UPI) — Officials at the National Institutes of Health on Tuesday stopped an ongoing clinical trial evaluating the use convalescent plasma for treatment of severe COVID-19, due to lack of clear clinical benefit.

The trial, which focused on emergency-room patients with mild to moderate symptoms of infection, found the approach to be safe, the agency said.

However, the treatment, which relies on blood plasma collected from patients who have recovered from COVID-19, did not speed recovery or lead to a significant reduction in symptoms.

“The National Institutes of Health has halted a clinical trial evaluating the safety and effectiveness of … convalescent plasma in treating emergency department patients who developed mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19,” the agency said in a statement.

March 2 (UPI) — The New York State Legislature agreed Tuesday to repeal Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s emergency powers that were granted to him at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Senate Democratic leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie announced the legislature would pass legislation to immediately strip Cuomo of the powers that were set to expire April 30.

“A year into the pandemic and as New Yorkers receive the vaccine, the temporary emergency powers have served their purpose — it is time for them to be repealed,” Heastie said. “These temporary emergency powers were granted as New York was devastated by a virus we knew nothing about. Now it is time for our government to return to regular order.”

Current orders will remain in effect for thirty days. If Gov. Cuomo wishes to extend that, he will be required to notify the New York Legislature.

Apparently March 4 is still on…at least at the trump hotel it is

Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC, is in deep trouble. To open the hotel, the former president—who apparently knows very little about the art of the deal—signed a sky-high lease and personally guaranteed hundreds of millions of dollars in debt. The only way that the math could plausibly add up was if the hotel was at full capacity pretty much all the time, while charging 50% more than any other hotel in town. The Trumps sorta managed to make it work while Donald Sr. was president, since he could lean on foreign dignitaries and Republican functionaries to make Trump Washington their hotel of choice. Since then, however, the place has become a ghost town and occupancy rates are…just a wee bit less than 100%, let’s say. So, the Trump Organization is losing money hand-over-fist as the due date for the loans gets closer and closer.

Tonight and tomorrow night, however, the glory days will return one more time, perhaps for the last time. And, never having met an opportunity to fleece supporters that they wouldn’t take, the Trumps are cashing in, with rooms on those two evenings booking for double or triple their usual rate, anywhere from $1,331 to $8,000 per night. That is because the most fanatical Trumpers of them all will be in town to see their hero inaugurated as the 19th president of the United States.

I’m going to argue that one. Given the conservatives’ history with Nazis, it was always plausible that there was some level of approval of an outright Nazi symbol within CPAC. However, that plausibility went down over time as more facts were uncovered - as is the case with most CT’s; however, the ones we label “conspiracy theories” don’t usually start with any plausibility to begin with. Now the matter is officially settled, and I’ll be the first to admit that I was wrong and that there was no intent and chalk it up to a common phenomenon, which is that it’s incredibly hard to take a look at a design and search for all plausible ways in which it can be viewed in a negative light.

It wasn’t at all plausible that the CPAC leadership intended it as such (which was the CT). Not only because skinhead-like folks are not their proven TA (the fact of them banning folks like Fuentes and McInnes directly speaking against the CT), but rather because there was no way they would signal to the skinheads without alerting everyone else and creating a distracting shitstorm they did not need, and they knew it perfectly.

It was only plausible that some lower-level Pepe there did that as a prank, but that’s not what the CT was about.

Supposed to rain today.

February is normally the month when most precipitation falls here in SoCal but this Feb was very very dry.

A weak trough is going to go through today so some rain is predicted, not much.

Even right now the RH is only 26%, which is pretty low for just before sunrise, especially on a day it is supposed to rain.

Snow pack in the Sierras is below normal. It is not critically low, but it does foretell that the state will need to remain on alert for a worsening drought.

Aren’t they starting to talk about “long-term” plans that don’t have fixed dates in them? As in, “We don’t need no stinking inauguration, Trump’s already the real shadow President and we just have to Trust the Plan (tm)?”

The U.S. Has Become a (Somewhat) Social Democratic Country
(financial times)

Janan Ganesh: “The pandemic has crystallized a thought for which there was once only scattered evidence. But at some point in this century, the US became a mildly social democratic country, in its attitudes if not the reality of its welfare state. It is the knottiness of the country’s lawmaking — the counter-majoritarian Senate, above all — that stops the one translating to the other, not some deep folk aversion to ‘socialism’ or the European way.”

“In their preferences, to be clear, Americans are hardly Danes. The reduction of inequality is well down their list of desires. Their tax tolerance is lower. But even as 40 percent reliably vote Republican, they do not inhabit the party’s vision of an eternal frontier of rugged self-reliance. If the US was once ideologically exceptional within the rich world, it is now just different in degrees.”

re: #143 Dangerman

GOP opposed acting on relief after House Democrats passed a relief bill in May 2020. They dragged their feet and did nothing until December when they were all but forced to act as benefits ran out.

Now, they’re doing the same exact thing, all while claiming that relief isn’t necessary, that the cost is too high, and that this will have bad outcomes.

They can’t actually identify the bad outcomes because there aren’t any. It helps tens of millions get relief from the damage done by these same treasonweasel GOPers who blocked action for months and whose every response to the pandemic has to make some aspect of it worse than it otherwise should be.

Cost? Yeah, it’s costly. But doing nothing is worse.
Cost? The cost will be recouped from higher economic activity and rebounding economic growth and reduced unemployment more than 2 years faster than otherwise. It gets people back on their feet now.

States get financial stabilization thanks to infusion of funds to defray the costs of slower economy and businesses that are no longer operational thanks to the pandemic (bankrupt, out of business, reduced size/capacity).

Mind you, states moving to reopen too fast too soon like TX and MS are courting another wave of outbreaks by going 100% mask free and opening 100%. That’s just obscene. Heck, even reopening major venues to 10% or 25% as NY or NJ are about to do is problematic because an insufficient number of people have been vaccinated and that interior spaces are still where the disease can spread easily - especially while eating, drinking, or singing without masking and social distancing.

Some of them may already be looking for the plea deal exit ramp. A lot of the timing will depend on federal prosecutors and DC prosecutors and handling/prioritizing the cases.

Also consider that the prioritization and sentencing recommendations may get a review by not yet confirmed AG Garland. That may be the pivot point here. Once Garland is confirmed, his guidance will flow down to the districts and could adjust the charges/recommendations going forward on 1/6 cases.

Greetings from the rapidly-imploding Czech Republic.

The COVID-19 situation here is increasingly grim. Several regional hospitals no longer have any ICU capacity whatsoever. The government is - as usual - floundering, with the chief psychopath, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, frantically blaming everyone and everything for his total incompetence; his underlings, the various and sundry government officials, are aping his approach in a desperate effort to cast blame for their own failures.

We’re nowhere close to getting a handle on this. If current trends continue, it’s entirely possible that by the end of this month, we’ll be looking at ~40,000 new cases per day. A (half-assed) lockdown began a few days ago, but until the root of the problem is addressed, (and the root of that problem is that COVID-19 is spreading like wildfire in assembly halls, factories and production centers), nothing will be solved.

An analogy - we’re at 0:20 of this clip: Titanic Breaks Scene

and the government has come around to the idea that a lifeboat drill may well be a good idea.

And in a bit of COVID-19 related news from here, my local university hospital has been doing blood-serum tests from volunteers who believed they might have had COVID-19 already. And to the surprise of perhaps no one, 40% of participants have indeed had the disease in the last 90 days. When those who had it last year, in the first wave (including yours truly) are factored in, the number could be as high as a whopping 60% in my region alone.

University hospitals in other regions are currently doing the same tests to see just how far COVID-19 has penetrated into the overall population.

Belafon  Mar 3, 2021 • 8:29:05am

Remember the worry that rural areas weren’t getting enough vaccine? Guess who’s actually playing politics:

And hey, it’s not as if Abbott is routing vaccine away from those cities to give it all to the reddest rural counties, even when it means vaccine is being thrown away. That’s Gov. Mike Parson in Missouri’s trick. As St. Louis public radio reports, “multiple mass vaccination events in rural areas” have ended up with hundreds of leftover doses of vaccine, some of which has ultimately been disposed of. In these areas, local officials have been skipping past the supposed guidelines to offer vaccines to anyone over 18, making a few Missouri counties among the vaccination leaders.

In rural Putnam County, MO—which voted 84% for Donald Trump last November (and 85% for Parson)—a vaccination event sent 2,340 doses of vaccine to a county whose total population is just 4,696. Only about 700 doses ended up being administered. Another 1,500 went unused, with some 150 of those doses being simply discarded. At the same time, St. Louis and Kansas City have been vaccine starved, with no large vaccination events scheduled. As a result, the percentage of the population vaccinated in many rural counties is over twice that of St. Louis or Kansas City. Across the state, as many people between the ages of 18 and 25 have been vaccinated, than the percentage of any age group vaccinated in St. Louis city.

in Georgia, state election officials already said in December that they would start interpreting a law that bans “the giving or receiving of money or gifts for the purpose of registering as a voter, voting, or voting for a particular candidate” as banning groups from handing out bottles of water or pizza to people waiting in long lines to vote. As if someone is going to go wait in an hours-long line because they might get a bottle of water or slice of pizza out of it.

Something knocked me on my ass for about 10 days in early December last year. I know it was viral, but at the time I didn’t think it was Covid (I didn’t get tested) because I had no fever, no chest congestion, no breathing issues or drop in blood oxygen (I keep a monitor for such at home). I did have a bit of fatigue but I was still able to function most of the day. My worst symptoms were a headache, a very mild cough and a runny nose. Oh and it felt like someone had inflated my head like a balloon.

I got through it and have felt fine since. No one else in my household got sick. If that somehow was Covid, I got seriously lucky.

Nice bordello of directors.

The Russian government has nominated Austrian former Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl for a seat on the board of directors of oil giant Rosneft PJSC, according to an order published Wednesday.

While foreign minister, Kneissl hosted Vladimir Putin at her 2018 wedding, dancing with the Russian president at the ceremony. Since leaving government the following year, she has contributed commentaries to the Kremlin-funded RT news network. She didn’t respond to a request for comment through her website Wednesday.

If Rosneft’s shareholders approve Kneissl’s nomination at their general meeting, she will join former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, who has served as chairman of the board and independent director since 2017. Schroeder’s close ties with the Kremlin have raised criticism in Germany.

An analogy - we’re at 0:20 of this clip: [Embedded content]

I went across the street, grabbed a cup of coffee, had a couple smokes, poked my head into the theater, had another cup of coffee and a couple ciggies, came back in, and five minutes later, I nudged her awake.

From an FX point of view, Titanic is a masterpiece and genuinely brilliant, especially the ship as she’s slowly sinking and I give James Cameron full credit for that, along with the FX team. But for me, that’s about it.

I had a weird, very rare, kind of cold with some chest congestion (just enough to make it hard for me to sing) last January, fairly early in the term. I doubt it was covid just because at the time that would have been really rare for this area, but it’s possible, just because so many of the covid cases weren’t being reported, so there could have been way more of it than anyone realized. There was a strange bug going around campus that my students were talking about. Absolutely no symptoms except one day when I felt a little punky with a low-grade fever, and then about a week of the phlegm in the throat. Makes me wonder. Perhaps I just got very lucky and turned out to be one of the people who doesn’t have much of a reaction to it, even though I wasn’t fully asymptomatic.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in ‘83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He’s been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

In ‘87, Huey released Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is “Hip To Be Square”. A song so catchy, most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics.

Probably the mercury in frozen fish sticks. Oh. Wait. That would only explain Tucker’s case.
I haven’t seen this research broken down by political and cultural affiliation but, given the observed prevalence of related compensatory behavior (big black guns, monster trucks, etc.) in certain affiliation groups, such a breakdown might be enlightening; indeed, incendiary.

Why isn’t Biden doing solo pressers. Why does he always have experts like Fauci and others at his pressers taking questions.

For fucks sake, this is Biden’s style. He’s dealing with unprecedented crises occurring simultaneously: pandemic, economic calamity, zero transition support, and oh yeah, the insurrection where the insurrectionists are still in the building (the Congressional treasonweasel caucus).

The reality is that just as the media just flat out ignored that Trump pressers were a dumpster fire of lies and often contradicted the experts in the room, Biden’s style is to be professional and let the professionals in the room speak on his behalf because they have his authority to do so.

It’s his governing style. And media criticisms are just that - anklebiting because they want soundbites from Biden instead of Dr. Fauci for example.

…..

Unfortunately states reopening too early are not just harming their residents but potentially the rest of the nation too as people travel from these states elsewhere bringing their infections with them.

As to states allowing restaurants to have some indoor dining, a girl friend and I who meet regularly for a walk and then outdoor dining as long as the temperature is at least 30 (no indoor dining at all) invited another friend to join us this week under our balmy 40 degree temperatures. She was eager to see us until she realized we were dining outdoors — and she immediately declined. There are too many people like her, who are who carefully mask but are so desirous of returning to a more normal life that they have thrown caution to the winds just to see others in person.

Why isn’t Biden doing solo pressers. Why does he always have experts like Fauci and others at his pressers taking questions.

[Embedded content]

Biden is 9 days behind some arbitrary meaningless “schedule”
