I feel sorry for whoever will be his parole officer when the supervised release starts.

The title of this thread seems a bit misleading until one notices the semicolon: it appears to read that Putin is somehow threatening Trump with Russian nukes.

Not that that, given the current shit going on, would be all that unusual a thing…..

Following up on the hearing aid discussion:

Another thing I like with using them on bluetooth is that when I am driving somewhere and using a maps app, the verbal alerts (i.e. “In 500 feet, turn left”) come straight through my hearing aids so I can hear them perfectly clearly almost every single time without having to fumble with a volume control or worry about background noise.

I was surprised to see that it was a man being recorded. Usually, the victim is a woman being abused by a man.

NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) - A manager at the Planet Fitness in Naugatuck is accused of recording an unclothed victim from the ceiling.

Police said the incident happened on June 30.

A complainant told Naugatuck police he was filmed while in a tanning booth at the Planet Fitness on New Haven Road.

The victim told police when he exited the tanning booth to go change, he looked up at the ceiling and saw a man recording him with a cell phone. The victim didn’t have clothes on, said police.

The Oz campaign has sent 23 fundraising emails since last Monday

Every one of them has bad news, saying directly or on a linked donations page that he is either missing fundraising goals, trailing Fetterman in dollars raised, or losing in the polls

Thats a strategy I guess

He lives in the middle of the Florida swamp, pretty sure nothing of value would be lost.

To be fair, I get fundraising messages from Democrats like that all the time.

Donald Trump has a knack for making his most committed apologists look like complete imbeciles—even if they are not complete imbeciles, though many of them are. This has been true for several years. But in recent weeks, Trump’s trickle-down idiocy has become a significant midterm-election issue for Republicans, and a drag on some of the party’s most vulnerable Senate candidates.”

At least our Trumpster brother detests Alex Jones.

But do want to comment on suspicions that Trump is suffering dementia: Trump was a successful con artist his entire life; lying to people, government authorities, financial institutions — all were no-brainer exercises for him. However, he put himself in a role that required either (a) knowledge of a wide variety of issues that had nothing to do with financial benefit for himself or (b) the ability to select competent personnel to manage these issues and let them do their thing. Obviously he lacks (a) but his desire to be the center of attention and constantly command the stage meant that (b) would fail too. He almost got away with this because we were in a time of peace and prosperity but then a crisis came along and he was flummoxed.

He’s not suffering from dementia just in over his head and flailing because (b) doesn’t allow him to step back and be silent. Let’s not forget that he used Hitler’s My New Order as a model on how to acquire a cult and maintain power; it doesn’t provide a guide on how to actually run a country in the midst of a once-in-a-century crisis.

If you listen to his interviews from a decade ago, he definitely lost something. Not sure if it’s dementia or what not, but he’s not the same guy. He was always the same asshole, but he used to be pretty sharp.

But the questions then were simpler in nature — about his brilliance as a real estate mogul or his ability to attract women or the disco scene. Now he is forced to answer questions on topics outside his purview — classified documents, foreign policy, a worldwide pandemic.

I suppose she talks from own experience to give such advice and that the Ukrainian men in Kherson and other occupied areas will follow it too instead of being drafted after the annexation, just like the poor LDNR schmucks did… (… not).

He is a cutting-edge performance artist.

He is a meta-satirist in a nation and society that has long since become a bad parody of itself, one whose political discourse has degenerated into a shouting match and will soon turn into a shooting match.
