Al-Arian and Friends Seethe, Whine
Suspected terror kingpin Sami Al-Arian is asking to be freed on bond and whining about persecution, while family members and terrorist buddies demonstrate outside the courtroom and call for President Bush to be tried instead. (Hat tip: zulubaby.)
About two dozen supporters of the defendants demonstrated outside the Tampa federal courthouse as the hearing began. Security was heavy as they chanted: “Free Al-Arian, put Bush on trial,” and were taunted by three counter-demonstrators.
Even though the US government remains committed to the creation of a Palestinian state, Al-Arian’s paranoia rages on.
Al-Arian has denied the charges and says he is being persecuted by the U.S. government because he is stateless Palestinian and supports the creation of a Palestinian state.
Nice grammar there, Reuters. Is Al-Arian writing this stuff himself?
