Letters About Tony Auth Cartoon
The Philadelphia Inquirer has published a page of letters about the antisemitic Tony Auth cartoon to which we linked yesterday: Star of David in Auth cartoon was upsetting. (Hat tip: Prosqtrixi.) They give the last word, however, to an Arab woman named Anne Selden Annab, who rather predictably gushes praise over this foul piece of work. Searching Google for Anne Selden Annab turns up many revealing links; apparently she’s a “revolutionary poet,” whose works have been published in hard-core Stalinist journals such as Communist Voice, and makes a habit of writing anti-Israel articles and letters to newspapers and magazines with liberal use of words like “genocide” and “apartheid.” Here’s a message she posted to an Arab group at Yahoo shortly after September 11, in which she writes:
If you ask me, Americans are doing far more to support terrorism than any Arabs.
