Do All Police Train Like This?

Do LAPD recruits also train by leaping through flaming hoops while instructors with AK47s fire real bullets at the ground, or does the Palestinian concept of police training seem a little … weird?

Here we can see that the “Pointless Leap” exercise is even stranger than we thought. In addition to being shot at, the would-be “graduate” of the training has to be able to leap through the ring o’ fire while someone else either drags the hoop stand, or rocks it back and forth.

Aieee! I can’t tell what’s going on the foreground of this one, unless the Palestinian ninja on the left has just cast one of those cool knife-edged throwing star thingies. It could also be that pest with the AK47 again. Aieee!
