“Put together a commemorative book, because this is history,” he told the Israeli prosecutor, Devorah Chen, according to the reporter from Reuters, one of those admitted to the courtroom under a pool arrangement. “I’ll be out soon enough.” The remarks, the report said, were greeted with cheers from a group of European lawmakers attending the trial.
