Dearborn Dhimmitude
This is absolutely amazing. Not only does every public official in Dearborn Michigan deny that there was anything wrong with the letter quoted in the entry below…
Dearborn Heights Police Chief Michael Gust said that police took an “incident report” from Panetta on the matter and will keep it on file.
“There was no investigation, to my knowledge,” Gust said. “We do not consider it a threat.”
Mayor Mary A. Canfield said, “I don’t find it threatening, and I don’t have a problem.
“Personally, I know Imad Hamad,” Canfield said. “And I do not think in any way that they meant to be threatening. I don’t know. Maybe it was using a word wrong. We’ve all done that a number of times. Or, maybe it was a difference in someone’s background, in terms of what words mean what.”
…the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, headed by a Palestinian “activist” whose possible ties to terrorist groups led the FBI to cancel his award for “public service,” and emboldened by the subservient attitudes of local officials, is persecuting the man they threatened—for daring to report the threat: School leader says he was threatened. (Hat tip: Glen Wishard.)
And, now, the Anti-Discrimination Committee is asking municipal and school officials in Dearborn Heights to formally investigate Panetta’s role in the entire affair.
