The murkiness of definitions has been pointed out on numerous occasions. In fact, if there is nothing to post on a given day, this murkiness is occurring somewhere, guaranteeing that space will be filled.

The real question, the most helpful question, is whether this truth helps us in our greater understanding of antisemitism and the eventual deadly consequences.

I would argue, by itself, it does not. However, within the context of an explicit elaboration of subtext, how to recognize subtext, and how the mind responds to subtext—these are the crucial topics that need to be addressed.
And for the most part, these questions are not addressed—anywhere. Specifically, anywhere is standard Jewish education. This is a big hole in the concept of ‘never again.’
