Well, the good news is at least here, the nut jobs are pretty marginalized, notwithstanding Geller’s hyperbole.

Violent whack jobs here will be more than likely turned by their own communities. We’ve seen that numerous times.

That said, your point is well taken. There are enough ‘lone wolf’ or small cell nut jobs who fly below the radar and who can do enormous damage if not in the physical sense, certainly in the PR sense.

Look at the ME a few days after the events,

It is no coincidence the ‘spontaneous’ chants were ‘We’re 10 million Osamas” and the Egyptian MB is saying one thing in English and another in Arabic.

I could go on but you get the point.

Real change is feared by all- better the devil you know than the devil you don’t. And power- real change upsets the balance of power- not an appealing condition in the corrupt ME.

Same players, different costumes, new script.
