Hey, lychee are not so bad! They should be slightly sweet and juicy. I’m not sure if they’re grown in the States, though, so transport may spoil their flavor.

Dragonfruit are slightly sweet, too. Best served in a fruit salad with other fruits.

Passionfruit are also known as grenadilla. They’re grown in South America and South Africa and their juice is delicious! One of the things I miss from S. Africa was a juice bar that sold the juice by the liter.

Durian smell awful, no doubt about it. A friend convinced me to try eat some. The fruit really does taste like a kind of custard, but after a while the smell put me off. I stopped after eating two segments of the flesh.

Try longyan (longan) is you can find them. They are small like lychee, but have a thin brown skin. The name means “dragon eye,” so if you’re put off by fruit that look like eyeballs, better skip this one.
