Obviously I’m being facetious with those two suggestions, but they’re there to make a point - there are many possible explanations when rigorous logic isn’t applied.

Speculation like this isn’t helpful in understanding why a person does something so horrible, we really need to wait for the assessment process to finish. ADHD and autism (my grandson has both, my daughter and I have Aspergers) may have symptoms similar to what has been reported about the alleged murderer, but even the reports are questionable because of their source.

Something that often seems to get lost in the rush for explanations is that it takes far more than just the possibility of a link for that link to be real. When it’s a causal link, all other likely links have to be eliminated before we can conclude anything. In this case, that has not been done.
