Sure, I can think of some things that Chavez has done for the poor (Orquestra Sinfonica Simon Bolivar, health inititives), but his autocratic leadership is setting back the cause of democratic socialism in that country and elsewhere.

It is really getting fucking tiresome to be a Liberal, and believe in America, and see people who are not really invested in the country tear it down all the time.
