Sensenbrenner and others need to make it very clear that this Bachmann attack on Islam has no future, and the GOP leadership is going to hammer it into the ground. A few people may flounce over that, but those people would flounce anyways eventually. Better to get rid of the worst crazies in a way that makes it clear you’re booting crazies.

Unfortunately, I don’t think Louie Gohmert or Trent Franks is going away anytime soon but I think we may see the last of Bachmann.
