This Grueling Election Is Over, and the Good Guys Won

Mitt Romney just gave his concession speech. It’s over. All the lying, all the race-baiting, all the obscene amounts of money … all over.

And Barack Obama wins a second term.

I know, I already posted that … but I just like saying it.

Things are still changing fast, but Barack Obama is beginning to take a clear lead, especially in Ohio where, with 30% of the vote counted, it’s Obama 51.9%, Romney 46.6%.

In the early stages, Obama leads

Still way too early to make any realistic predictions, but Ohio is looking really good for Obama right now. Only 2% of the vote reported, but Obama is leading by 57.3% to Romney’s 41.5%.

Florida is much closer, but with 39% of the vote reported, Obama has the edge with 50.6% to Romney’s 48.6%.
