Mad Magazine Goes Full Metal Wingnut

And it’s not even funny. At all. No humor in evidence.

I really hope this kind of crude, humorless pandering isn’t what we can expect from Mad Magazine, going forward. And I say that as a life-long fan.

Right Wing Mounts Unprecedented Smear Campaign Against Freed POW

The new right wing motto: “Some soldiers should be left behind”
Wingnuts • Views: 28,353

I thought I’d seen massive lock-step right wing smear campaigns before, but the effort the Republican Party and their media parrots have mounted to assassinate the character of freed POW Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is absolutely mind-boggling in its volume and derangement. For example…

On the front page of the Breitbart “News” Network, we currently find at least eighteen articles ranting about Sgt. Bergdahl.

And on HotAir’s front page, it’s even more ridiculous. As I write this, I count at least twenty-four articles bashing Bergdahl, his father, his father’s beard, and of course, President Obama — because Obama is very obviously the real target, and Bergdahl and his family are just collateral damage to these hateful assholes.

And speaking of Republicans and conservatives complaining about Obama being seen with Bergdahl’s father and his long, unkempt beard, savor the irony if you will:
