The author of this piece, Charles P. Vick, is probably the world's foremost expert on missile and space booster development. He is famous in aerospace circles for the uncanny accuracy of his analyses of then-secret Soviet and Chinese programs during the mid to late Cold War period. His research was entirely private and non-governmental, yet he upstaged all official sources in his accurate analysis of the Soviet Moon landing program, especially the giant N-1 booster and the configuration of the lander. Among other things, he made the extraordinary determination that N-1's first stage had 30 engines, a fact that was widely rejected in western circles at the time but confirmed by Soviet sources after the collapse. He did all this as a private citizen carefully combing through east bloc publications and perusing the low-res images from the Landsat satellite (the best then available to civilians.)

When Charles speaks, people should listen.

 Frank says:

It began with lyrics, but even looking at the PMRC fund raising letter in the last paragraph, at the bottom of the page, it starts looking like it's branching into other areas when it says 'We realize that this material's pervaded other aspects of society' and it's like 'What, you gonna fix it all for me?'
