Just this Sunday, Scientology also told us that psychiatrists caused the Holocaust.

Back to 9/11:

"To take a person who's very religious," says Figuero, "and turn them into a killing machine against their will... you need something behind that, you need something fairly powerful.

What if that powerful thing is a totalitarian religious movement like Islamism, or a "secular" one like Nazism?
The really scary thing is that these people commit terrorist acts of their own free will because of their totalitarian ideology, not because of some Manchurian Candidate like brainwashing.
I guess this is a bit like those "apologize and they'll stop attacking us" delusions, except this is "they're brainwashed and doing things against their own will"-delusions. That's better than full-out "controlled demolitions"/"alien space planes" trutherism, but it's still delusions.

But it helps to have an ambivalent or negative feeling towards democracy from before. This is why incitement is one of the most important things in the Oslo agreement that never was carried out by the Arabs.

 Frank says:

You see, when I was a kid I used to save up for a month, so I could get an R&B album and, the same day, the completed works of Anton Webern. Maybe that means something. Maybe that tells you something about my music. -- Excerpt from the book "Rock and Other Four Letter Words", copyright 1968.
