The Passing of Sen. Edward Kennedy
[Link: lawhawk.blogspot.com...]
RIP and my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. He was one of the few people in American history to have such a long and indelible stay on the national political stage. Now, Democrats may attempt to use this as a means to push through health care reform, and Mass. is looking to take away the public’s right to choose his successor.
On a more personal note, my only connection to the Senator comes from the fact he cited to a law review article I penned on hate speech. Always thought that was neat, even if I didn’t agree with him and his politics.
