And who did you vote for, Chris? Who makes your leg tingle?

Matthews is on The One’s payroll? A news commenter also attacking a citizens who says he doesn’t think the Government take over contract law. The contempt for the man who isn’t a talking head is obvious. Elitism on parade!

oh…and it’s a laughing matter that you are named by the President’s staff as a dissenter? Yep…funny Chris…I guess that’s what keeps you saying nicve things about Oh *BAM!* and being a self appointed attack dog.

I completely agree with Rick. I did it right with my mortgage by putting 25% down. My neighbors did not. Now they are basically being given that 25%. It may seem like a good thing, but in 10 years when housing returns to normal, I sell my house for what I paid for it, and I make no money other than the 25% down payment, which was already mine. My neighbor will now have that 25% that Obama gave him as a profit.

The exchange between Santelli and Matthews demonstrates how to argue against the “stimulus” (and all of Obama’s other statist policies): stick with the philisophical/moral angle of individual rights. When Santelli did that, Matthews had no response other than to move onto further questioning, which is all an intellectual void like Matthews could do. Near the end, Santelli deviated a bit when Matthews pushed him into creating a policy on the fly, and that part was Santelli’s weakest. He should have said that any valid solution will not violate the the property rights of responsible homeowners (to their tax dollars), even if that results in bank failures and foreclosures. Any interviewer who tries to appeal to altruism needs to be slapped down hard.
Still, a great argument by Santelli and yet another display of jackassery by Matthews.

OUTSTANDING! He went straight to the point, this is a philosophical issue; the details won’t change the macroscopic principles. Mr. Santelli, my hat’s off to you.
