Actually, it’s almost kind of funny to watch the union make it’s demands as the NYT simply says what needs to be cut in order to keep the paper running.

Yet again, a union takes down an entire business.

Coupled with the fact of course that it’s the dinosaur media.. with it’s own sense of entitlement.

The bad news: If the union caves in, the Globe might live on after all.

The good news: If the Globe does stick around, then it will keep losing money for the NYT, and maybe the whole operation will fall apart sooner.

The other good news: Recently, I haven’t heard anything more about the Obama administration stepping in and pouring taxpayer money into the NYT and the other financially failing propaganda outlets that handed him the election.

In the above scenario I would like to see the union cave and drag the whole ship down. Kill two birds with one stone. The NYT seems to have wider distribution outside of NYC than the Globe out of Boston.
