“gay” Israeli MK at Tel Aviv “pride parade”: “by legislation, not via the courts”
Longtime TV journalist Nitzan Horowitz is one of just three MKs for the leftist Meretz party, and thus far our second openly homosexual MK, speaking at the Tel Aviv “gay pride parade”, stresses the importance of legislation over court rulings. (I have a lot against Meretz, but unrelated to their seating homosexual MKs.)
Also: the IDF has a “you tell, we don’t care” policy.
Related to post, in the sense that in Iran he would probably be dangling from the neck instead of sit in parliament after a successful career in broadcasting, and be interviewed at a “pride parade”.
