Prof. Beres, an international law specialist who is generally very pro-Israel, explains why any newly created demilitarized state could find precedents in international law to remilitarize itself. (He seems to imply that the best solution is not to agree to a Pali state at all, which may be easier said than done. Or is it time to revisit “the Jordanian option”? ;-))
