WHO predicts “explosion” in H1N1 flu cases
An update now on how flu vaccine trials are going and just how bad this outbreak may be.
Hundreds of Americans are testing the H1N1 flu vaccine right now to make sure it’s safe for the rest of us this fall.
And on Friday officials said so far, those tests show no danger.
With H1N1 flu on the way everyone’s taking precautions.
From employers allowing the sick to work from home to daycares asking parents to drop kids at the door.
“What we try to find is a balance between being proactive and not over reacting,” said Jeanne Wakefield of the University of North Carolina Child Care Center.
On Friday a World Health Organization official said expect an “explosion” of H1N1 flu this fall.
