All I can say is, it has to suck when your own readers have such contempt for you. He’s like a dog that’s used to being whipped, or a court jester dealing with a very abusive mob. Sometimes he snaps back a little at the constant abuse, but he doesn’t really mean it and nothing ever changes for real.

I quit going there many months ago. It’s not a place that hosts the kind of conservatism that this conservative (ME!) can identify with, nor wants to be associated with.

I used to have a lot of respect for A.P., putting up with the knee-jerk reactionary religionist abuse the way he has. *sigh*

IMHO dealing with childish posters has got to suck for all bloggers who allow posts. I admire Charles for his patience; I couldn’t handle all the flame wars.

The hostile comment has not been removed (unless I was reading a cached copy).
