Carlos Latuff plagiarizes again
Between 2003 and 2006, Charles Johnson covered the activities of Brazilian cartoonist Carlos Latuff, one of the meanest-spirited anti-Israel cartoonists I’ve personally ever seen.
On May 31, Latuff released “BASTARDSGaza aid ship attacked,” a cartoon about his take on the “peace activists” being raided.
The first thing I noticed was that it bears resemblance to a certain 1938 cartoon by Josef Plank, which features an octopus with a Star of David on its head, explicitly designed to be anti-Semitic. Coincidence? Probably.
Here is a more complete report on the rampant anti-Semitism that is tolerated on deviantART.
