Touchdown Jesus is no more tonight after having been reduced to ash from a wrathful bolt of lightning. The statue stood around 60 feet tall, and cost roughly half a million dollars for a mega church somewhere in Ohio to build. No doubt this travesty will soon be blamed on Obama (the undeniable anti-christ) teaming up with the mighty Thor to destroy America.

Touchdown Jesus was located in Monroe, Ohio at the Solid Rock Church. It sat on the side of I-75 about 25 miles north of Cincinnati. You couldn't miss it when driving by. RIP, buddy.

Oh, right -- just a natural occurrence. THIS one was obviously an accident.

I figured some dolt on talk radio would claim this is yet another sign the endtimes are upon us.
Not me, I blame it on the Church being cheap and vain. I mean if they had made the statue out of granite or marble it would stand forever. But no, the Megachurch wanted bigger and cheaper so they made it out of what... wood and plaster of Paris? They could have had a 15 foot tall genuine statue with what it costed, but they decided to make it huge so it had to be cheap.
