End of the day, this is a crie de couer that you are going to be hearing much more frequently from the scientific community. There really is only so much stupid that one can take. Being given equal time with the stupid - as if their untrained, un-thinking and uneducated, drooling views are somehow equal is an insult.

Right on Ludwig! Among other things, I flew a chopper in Vietnam so I could get the GI Bill and go to college. Then I busted my ass (and quite a few rocks) for 15 years so I could become a legitimate scientist.
I don’t begrudge any of that, and I am especially proud of my military service, but it galls me to no end that some cretin who thinks the Pantheon in Rome is one third as old as the Earth itself is more likely to get a public hearing than I am.
