That is not the standard for which you prosecute this crime.

Just the action of voter intimidation is enough.

Don't take my word for it.

Bartle Bull, an author and civil rights veteran who ran RFK's 1968 presidential campaign, was observing the Fairmont Street polling station in Philadelphia when the incident occurred. Bull filed an affidavit that stated he overheard one of the men tell a white poll observer, "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker."

Bull, a former publisher of the Village Voice, was awarded the 2003 civil rights medal by the late liberal lion Sen. Ted Kennedy for his voting-rights work in Mississippi. He was monitoring polling activities on Election Day 2008 in his role as chairman of New York's Democrats for McCain organization.

Bull's affidavit described the incident as "the most blatant form of voter intimidation I have encountered in my life in political campaigns in many states, even going back to the work I did in Mississippi in the 1960s."

I think it is a really interesting bit of prejudice when just because someone is a Conservative, or says that they voted republican that their testimony is dismissed.

You can see the voter intimidation on the video yourself. You can tehn try and excuse it... BUT if a KKK Skin head was doing it you would change your mind about how many people have to be directly effected.

Basically dismissing Bull's testimony means that only democrats that worked for Obama, or voted for Obama can be trusted to tell the truth.

IF the plan was to intimidate McCain voters, AND a McCain Poll Watcher complains....it doesn't count. In Media Matters world, only Obama Poll Watchers can testify.

.

That is an insane thing to say in response to the posting of an article that states the opinion of a conservative.

What about the Minutemen case? Did you know about that? Fox hasn't reported it, so probably not.

Fox, for example, has refused to report that the Bush-era Justice Department chose not to pursue voter intimidation charges against members of the Minutemen in Arizona, one of whom allegedly carried a handgun while harassing Hispanic voters in 2006.

The media matters link goes to a great length to show that Bull's opinion and testimony does not count, because he voted and worked for McCain.

The excuse "Bush did it" is a funny one. Basically Obama kept saying that a vote for McCain was a vote for more Bush, and then every week it is "Bush did it too"

Please show me where ANYONE who is part of this testimony said anything about not prosecuting the Minuteman case. If you find anyone, then they are acting hypocritical. It is NOT a good reason not to prosecute this case.

Stanley, I don't think you are supposed to down ding me just because I disagree with your opinion.

Saves me from arguing a nontroversy with a Foxhead.

OK, However will you accept the findings of the Commission on Civil Rights?

Four of its eight board members are appointed by the president.
