I don’t think he accused her of anything.

He accused the NAACP people in the audience of nodding in agreement and supporting her decision (at the time) to not help the white farmer. Which is what the video supports.

If you recall, Breitbart posted the video in response to the NAACP calling the Tea Party movement racist.

The Sherrod video shows the NAACP nodding in approval and murmurring in agreement of Sherrod’s tale of racism.

It was Vilsack and the NAACP that bungled this whole mess. To accuse Breitbart in the above video simply shows that the people that put that video together really do not understand what happened, and are simply letting their bias show.

which proves you did not watch the full video. Even Breitbart backed off that claim. Why are you defending him more strongly than he defends himself?

Vilsack and Jealous certainly made errors, but only a fool or someone with vile intentions would defend Breitbart’s part in this.

The *heavily edited* video. The whole, actual video doesn’t show *anything you think it shows*. What you see is that she thought about not helping them, but turned around and indeed helped the white farmer with her full support, and now they are friends.

Please look for the facts before repeating anything from Breitbart.

But the purpose of Breitbart’s releasing of the video was not to attack Sherrod, but to counter the NAACP’s claims that the Tea Party is racist with a video that shows the NAACP racism.

He accused her of much more racism than she admits to in her speech. He accused her of ruining the farmers who came out and supported her afterward. His purpose was to attack the NAACP, which only makes it more despicable that he would take her down with lies. Especially since the video did not show any racism from the NAACP. And even if the NAACP was racist, how is that a defense against racism in the tea parties?

Why are you defending Breitbart?

Might I suggest you take a closer, more objective look at the situation before jumping on either side?
