Woohoo—just received my cookbook in the mail!

I decided to take some quick snapshots so that any of you who haven’t ordered one yet can have a better idea of what it actually looks like.

I ordered mine last Saturday and chose the least expensive shipping (media mail), so I was pleasantly surprised that it only took 6 days to arrive (your mileage may vary as I’m in NJ and I believe the publisher is in NC). Oh, and it was very well packaged in a sturdy box.

I have to bring this thing when I go shopping. Otherwise, I don't have any of the supplies when I decide I want to cook something. I seriously have yet to try even one recipe, but I'm very eager to try some of them! Also, if anyone knows of any shops that regularly carry alligator, let me know...

Hey - I included a website where you can order it! It's in the cookbook, with the alligator recipe.

Do you have a cell phone? Send the ingredients to yourself as a text message, or save them as a note. I have a pretty basic cell phone and even I can do that.

Heh, Reine from bayou land would be the one to know where to get gator meat!

No, I haven't had a chance to try any of the recipes yet, but a lot of yours look yummy. I love falafel, so maybe I'll try that one first.

Repeat after me: If anything bad happens, the CIA and/or the Mossad is guaranteed to be behind it. Global warming? Mossad. Deep Horizon? CIA. Drug cartels in Mexico? Joint CIA/Mossad operation.

See? Easy peasy. Except for earthquakes in Iran. Anyone with half a brain knows those are triggered by immodest women.
