Checked out the website of the guys behind this... it seems like a couple of young artists (?) who are trying to make some $ off of contemporary populist stupidity, not unlike Rupert Murdoch.

Correct. The issue is how much it resonates with the baggers.

I am not rally surprised that this crap was posted at the stalker/troll hate blog.
Martinez started having a masturbatory fantasies of an armed revolution months before the 2008 election. If my memory serves me right, it was about the time he hooked up with Savage and several months after boasting of his future war against LGF.

Good post, Ludwig. I should note that even Stalker blog members snork and buzzsawmonkey found that 'movie' offensive. Mr. Mullen is just right-wing snuff-porn. But the person who wrote it needs to have an FBI file opened about him. Because someone who thinks like that is a likely serial killer.

Yes, but the majority liked it. The question is how much it resonates in the general movement.

Do me a favor and notice how many did like it before you try to be the ohh so fair to everyone, fairy. I am really getting sick of you.

Not surprising either given the fantasies of iolence against women that you routinely see from Savage and many others.

Even though I mentioned this as part of the stalker blog, the question is how representative are they of the far right set?

And given how many like this rightwing snuff porn in their regular writings, how prevalent is it in the movement?

That is the real question.

The stalkers did not make this film or the flag decorated site that posts it.

The people who made it are clearly looking for an audience and they clearly are marketing it to the tea-bags. So how many are into this overall?

Sorry. I did notice till I looked again that it had gotten substantial support there. The "filmmakers" even posted comments as 'SGF'. The prize comment:

Thanks M and others! Our intention is not to shock through visuals- we do not want to be like the horror filmmakers of today. We merely want to create great stories which support alternative beliefs and true conservatism (which I do grant, is relative) which makes the viewer think long after seeing it.

The villiage had the two film makers on their show. How about that?

Hello all,

Thank you all for taking the time to watch Mr. Mullen. While we understand that the film might not be for everyone, we greatly appreciate any comments or reactions that people might have for the film, as it was two years of hard production work for us, and now we start the real work in promoting it and using it to finance our feature film. We love talking with people who are passionate about the issues as we are, and are excited about the opportunities coming up in the future,

Thanks to Rodan and all,

Mark, Scott

Arw you aware that Martinez was one of Eric Odom's odious stalker trolls?

This the same Eric Odom that is a tea party official. His previous gig was setting up stalker sites. I coined a term a while back, the astro-turf spin machine.
He had a racket going where he took willing rubes like Martinez and paid them off with worthless "titles" as reward for trolling progressive blogs.
Unfortunately for Mr Odom, Martinez was a disastrous choice, he failed miserably. So much so that he was forced to abandon his Trajan moniker.
I believe Martinez'a reward was Think Progress Watch and a title of contributor at Olberman Watch.
It hasn't changed much, Troll Central recently got Contributors titles for three of the stalker at the cesspool.

Yeah that is sort of the point. The question is how correct are the film makers in their read of their intended audience. They want to make a film about a militia apparently.

re: #17 b_sharp

From Chickadee:

I think it’s great that you guys are interested in doing anti-Hollyweird, pro-Constitution films. Do them.
There is a huge market for pro-Americanism now. People in this country are thirsty for films that portray the values and traditions we hold dear. You can get rich and do the right thing. It’s a win-win opportunity.
Just take a look at all the failed garbage produced that tries to make this country out to be the bad guy, the cause of all the problems in the world, and dumb as hell. LOL, that shite is going nowhere fast. And forget the anti-war movies where we are always are the perps and the muzz always the pillars of knowledge and sensitivity. Celebrate our holidays. Do a nice Christmas movie that shows what giving kind people we are.
Don’t try to be cutting edge and put down everything we hold sacred. In other words do the opposite of what the scrunts in Hollyweird are doing. Take over that place and make them obsolete. The time is now. America is waiting to go back to the movie theaters, buy some popcorn and actually enjoy a show.

And the filmmakers respond:

Thanks for your support Chickadee! We are not doing this for wealth- we are doing this because we are volunteering our time and talents as we perceive them to promoting positive change. However, money definitely helps in getting distribution, and to fund our oeuvre. I would love to be able to produce and support independent art in the future and see a breakdown of the Hollywood mainstream system, and it will take money to do that which we are prepared to work for.

And you are correct- the time is now to put this content out there. We need people to wake up, right now.

Ohh how noble they are feeding sick delusions to already disturbed people.

The filmakers take the time to notice this post:

Also, I do not believe that this is a “right” or a “left” film- we will never make a film that panders to a political party or a specific point of view. The fact that others, specifically LGF will reduce it to “right-porn” or whatever shows the clear blindness in our society- the desire to categorize and condemn (negative) rather than respond (positive) which is so rampant throughout the educational system is one of the reasons that the political landscape is such that it is.

Since you two are reading here, then perhaps I can share some thoughts with you as well.

Your hard work was a craven attempt to capitalize on the growing inchoate rage and anger festering in America. There is nothing positive about that. You are fear and vengeance mongers who are feeding the dark fantasies of crude and repugnant troglodytes.

That is actually the nicest possible interpretation of you.

The worst interpretation of you is that you actually believe your sick message.

There is no blindness as to what you made. Your points, such as they are, are very difficult to miss. So please do tell me what you would fix in this nation, r how the actions portrayed by your story would fix anything? Please do tell us what the girls did to deserve being murdered? How was that an act of patriotic "justice?"

You nailed that right on the head when the "protagonist" simply stated he wanted to hurt others as much as possible. He butcher's the man's children, then kills his wife and him. It is pretty obvious, that the intent was not just to kill an enemy but to destroy him and all he had utterly.

So what really did those girls do to deserve being slaughtered? Was it that they had breasts? Was it that one of them smoked a joint? And how is murdering teenagers a possibly noble American thing to do which will bring back some lost Constitution?

You are nothing more than purveyors of filth.

re: #32 SGFAM

True conservatism, as defined by the makers of Mr. Mullen, has nothing to do with Bush-era Republicanism, anarchy, or violence.

No, simply murdering teenage girls. I would agree that all too many tea bags would not have a problem with that.

True conservatism is the rejection of mass thought, mainstream media, and the return to all that has meaning in life- love, beauty, face-to-face relationships and depth. It is not right or left- the makers of Mr. Mullen reject political stereotypes and conformity.

You mean like the social contract which keeps your teenage girls safe from being butchered by paranoid fanatics?

Chris Mitchell, the main character, has lost the love and beauty in his life.

Which is blamed on the government.

He sees shallowness in all aspects of society, specifically teenagers and politicians.

But not male teenagers.

Thus, he becomes a murderer.

Clearly the only option.

He is what is known as an anti-hero. Violence is not promoted. Accountability is promoted. Quality of life is promoted, in what you might call reverse psychology.

Don't hand me that shit. It ends with a call to revolution and is being marketed to revolutionaries.

If you watch the film in 20 second intervals, it's no surprise that you missed that.

Yeah but I didn't miss the call to violent revolution.

If you watched the film at all, you would understand that Mr. Mullen was responsible for the death of Chris' family.

Because somehow the Senator forced the black man who lost his job to murder Chris's wife?

If you watched the film expecting to hate it because it came from Blogmocracy, I expected no better.

Well, you see, they are well known sick bastards who routinely call for all manner of violence. Your boy Rodan for instance wants all Shiite Muslims gassed with nerve gas.

If you'd have watched the other films, Loss of Hope, and The Militia 15, you would plainly see the promotion of change through peace.

Somehow I doubt that.

Here is a purported interview with one of the makers:

[Link: webcache.googleusercontent.com...]

SG - There are definitely views of mine that are in the film that I feel a lot of people are feeling at the time that the film was made, and especially now with how the economy is and where it's heading, it's most definitely a concern for myself and others. The inspiration for the film comes from many different avenues. Interestingly enough I was part of a few political organizations a few years back until I realized that not a lot of things were getting done. It seemed as if people had their own agenda and too many different ideas of what they wanted to achieve - some desired to be famous (an unfortunate aspect of our species) and would scream facts to the people walking by during street rallies to get more attention drawn to themselves while others wanted truth. I was one of the many who wanted truth and later came to feel that truth is universal - it's something that you have to find within yourself. Everyone has their own reality of what life is as well is what is truth and what is lies.

Seriously adrift in a sea of nonsense.

Great, more paranoid militia fantasy.

SG - We are getting right back into shooting The Militia 15, which is a film about a documentary filmmaker who forms the militia in hopes to make a change by counteracting the lies of the mainstream media with alternative videos of truth and proper facts. The film was inspired by the constant misinformation of the mainstream news, as well as local militia movements that are willing to protect their families in the event of Martial Law.

re: #55 SanFranciscoZionist

It is all part of the inchoate rage thing. Hollywood weenies of course are all liberal, and conservatives murder teenaged girls to really hurt the evil politicians of the government.

It isn't supposed to make sense on any level beyond a visceral lumping together hated targets.

The film makers are back on the cesspit whining about the inability to have intelligent debate. They are very smoothly playing the martyr cookie.

It all fits into the feeling that the far right has, that they have no control or place in their own nation. These false fears have been pushed by Fox and the right wing punditry for tow years now. It has taken root and you have the responses of frightened and wounded animals.

I would much rather that Charles had let them post. There is an awful lot of their double talk that could have been examined and exposed for the trash it is. They are double talking goons who think that they have the intelligence to withstand scrutiny. It would have been a pleasure to pin their ears while giving them enough rope to hang themselves. But then again, it is his blog.

re: #53 Reginald Perrin

I may have spoken too soon, Cato may be on to something.

It is "Taxi Driver" remade by a mental defective, the short version. And the "SG" of #51 is most assuredly the same person as the "SGFAM" on this thread.

Says he:

He is what is known as an anti-hero. Violence is not promoted. Accountability is promoted. Quality of life is promoted, in what you might call reverse psychology.

Ooh, I've never heard of an anti-hero before, dude. Thanks for the film lesson.

Accountability? You mean, if you blame a politician for ruining your life, killing his wife and daughters as well as him is holding him accountable? Because I don't think I see the murderer getting held accountable anywhere.

And it I might call it reverse psychology, except it's not. That term has a very specific meaning of which you are patently ignorant.

Everyone has their own reality of what life is as well is what is truth and what is lies.

There was this period of time known as the Sixties when that was held to be true by many people. It also happens to be the polar opposite of conservatism, which you would know if you had actually ever done any reading.

The fact that the only place this little bit of decayed jism from a post-adolescent's wet dream of film-making is getting any play or praise is, I must say, encouraging. Because, Ludwig, let's face it, if you didn't read over there, no sane person could be said to ever visit the place.

It is all part of the inchoate rage thing. Hollywood weenies of course are all liberal, and conservatives murder teenaged girls to really hurt the evil politicians of the government.

It isn't supposed to make sense on any level beyond a visceral lumping together hated targets.

Good dissection of their actions. They remind me of the Nazi fake-documentarian from the NBC TV movie Uprising back in 2001. As the Nazis made movies to inspire hatred of Jews, so these two make movies to inspire hatred of "progressives". They truly would have fit in very well in Dr, Goebbels' propaganda ministry.

Unfortunately, we were prevented from intelligent debate. SGFAM was blocked. I suppose another email could be registered, but what is the point. Because I know that they are watching, I will post my response here.

They go on to say:

I have no desire to argue with any of you. Clearly, LGF missed the message of the film- by a WIDE margin. The filmmakers do not believe in violence.

I wanted to define what I meant, rather than have people wrongly interpret it. It is a losing battle, I know.

Ahhh poor propagandist... Poor, poor you. Your message was as obvious as a third eye and as subtle as a syphilitic, three-legged elephant.

Seems more like an FBI case to me. Because those two filmmakers sound like two UNSUBS from Criminal Minds. And they're as bad or worse than Oliver Stone with their sick glorification of a murderous rampage.

This is a little different. These idiots are advertising the Tea Parties on their webpage and making films about assassinating elected officials and their families. This goes beyond Oliver stone and Quinten Tarrantino.

I think this is from one of Neal Stephenson's novels, but I'm not sure. I didn't read it, it was quoted to me by a friend. Something about how every man, until the age of 25 or so, believes that if his family was murdered by an evil tyrant, and he trained for, like, six months, with a master of martial arts to learn to avenge them, he could be the baddest mother on the block.

And the part where they are forced to melt down the statue of liberty to make bullets against the immigrant mass attack... The presidential tap-dance scene with Rush Limbaugh as the host in black-face singing "Swanny River".... All the good scenes were cut.

Well, I lived through that phase and managed not to hurt anyone.

After reading "Dune", however, I did go out and buy the closest thing I could find to a crysknife (all the ones made of sandworm-tooth were sold out, and I couldn't have afforded that, anyway) and pretended I was Paul Muad'Dib Atreides for a while. Still have the knife.

I got better once I started getting laid regularly. Which is what this little piece of offal of a "movie" is really all about. Some fat guy with money and a mustache had a hot daughter who rejected SG, and this was how things played out in his mind.

The fact that these guys are extremely sick puppies shouldn't distract us from the fact that they are also immensely dumb. How dumb? This dumb -- the video is dedicated to the memory of, of all people, Bill Hicks!

To grasp how hilarious this is, you have to realize that Hicks described himself as a "Chomsky with dick jokes". Take, for instance, the glorification of patriotism in the video -- "Patriotism is a way of life for myself and others", says the psycho narrator. Now contrast it with what Bill Hicks had to say about patriotism:

Hicks was an extreme left-libertarian, you nitwits. He was anti-government, yes, but he also despised the "military-industrial complex", religion, corporations, Reagan, Bush I, and did not have anything nice to say about "real America", to put it mildly.

And all of this is not exactly a secret. All you have to do a google search on Bill Hicks and watch a couple of randomly picked video, really.

Bill Hicks is definitely not your brand of crazy, dudes.

I liked both Hostel movies as well! I have movies on my bookshelf far more fucked up than Hostel. I mean Hostel is Torture porn, Death Race 2000 is vehicular homicide porn, Death Wish is revenge porn, Divine movies are...uh... anyway, filmmaking is often about invoking raw emotions. ;-)

The reason Eli Roth does it it is he likes the storytelling, that's his art, blood and guts is the medium, there you go. Like death metal. To a lot of people it's just blast beats and screaming and it has no point. But it's music to me, therefore that's its point.

They're being astroturfed. The site, American Citizens Movement is basically a puppet site so they can get a different audience since the first run at publicity failed. The main blogger there is someone called fleighton who says:

Vaccines – In the beginning vaccines were used only for life-threatening diseases like small pox. Now, the vaccination programs are out of control; and today’s vaccines are NOT to protect us. They are not safe and are designed to inject us with lethal and harmful agents like mercury. They are really ticking time bombs of destruction or sterilization…one only has to look at our birthrate to see what has transpired and why. Now, a U.S. Government panel is pushing for vaccines for all…no exceptions! No wonder MA passed a law circumventing the Constitution and unlawful entry into one’s private home in order to force vaccinate you or haul you off to a quarantine center. They saw that coming a mile away. Further, mad-scientist Bill Gates is now developing a method of vaccine deployment triggered by human sweat…why?

They're being astroturfed. The site, American Citizens Movement is basically a puppet site so they can get a different audience since the first run at publicity failed. The main blogger there is someone called fleighton who says:

Methings they're all crazy.

I hear fleighton is a former Air Force General. Goes by the name of Jack D. Ripper.

re: #112 Dark_Falcon

I tell you what. These guys kind of fit in over there at cesspool blog. Here's another of her ideas:

Food/Water Supply – Government projects have been consistently carried out to change our food and water. The Government has continuously allowed dangerous chemicals to be used in our food and dumped on our soil and put into our water to adversely affect our health…sodium fluoride in our drinking water and toothpaste come to mind. Where does all the cancer come from and why are items like corn syrup used in about everything when it is well known it is the number one cause of diabetes? Have you noticed that our vegetable gardens no longer produce the same amount of harvest that they did years ago? Have you noticed higher levels of cancer near farming communities?

I think it's hilarious. They think they found the anti-Hollywood film and wound up interviewing some trurthers with a website fill of conspiracy nuts.

re: #112 Dark_Falcon

And another:

Covert Programs – Secret programs are being carried out against the people of this country. Many previously secret programs that have now been declassified can be researched, including taking the DNA of our newborn babies in the hospital. The people of this country are being used as guinea pigs for has all kinds of secret programs experimenting on our health, minds and psyche – all with an eye to control us.

115 Gus  Sun, Aug 15, 2010 11:05:14pm

Yet more:

PC claims that man, through industry (work), is hurting and ruining the environment even to the point of claiming CO2 gases are wrecking havoc with the air quality and the weather. Yet God created CO2 as a means of support for plant life. Plant life cannot exist without CO2. Further, plant life produces OXYGEN, which man cannot survive without. We have a perfect balance created by God. God says He decides the weather. God brings the rain in due season (Deuteronomy 11:14). Your land shall not yield her increase and the trees won’t yield fruit (Leviticus 26:20). Leviticus 26:19 states, “I will make your heaven as iron and your earth as brass (drought and famine). God determines the weather. PC still persists in the flawed mindset that the menace on earth is man and all he does is harmful to nature…the very breath of man is fatal to the environment.

CONCLUSION: PC PUTS ANIMAL LIFE AND PLANT LIFE ON AN EQUAL FOOTING WITH MAN. ANY USE THAT DOES NOT FIT THE PC AGENDA IS CONSIDERED TO BE AN ABUSE BY MAN FOR WHICH MAN SHOULD BE RESTRICTED, PUNISHED, OR ELIMINATED. MAN IS THE PROBLEM ON PLANET EARTH. PC BELIEVES THAT NATURE WILL BE HERE LONG AFTER MAN HAS DIED OFF. NATURE MUST BE PROTECTED FROM MAN BY MAN.

Hey, it's quite possible that the directors knew exactly what they were doing. But somebody is definitely being had. The stalkers think quite highly of Reagan, right?

Bill Hicks on Ronald Reagan

This, my fellow lizards, is the hero of the video directors. This is the man that they are indirectly celebrating! Isn't it grand? :D

I'd say nice find, but there is nothing nice about it. The RNC made a gross decision allowing Paul to stay in. They allowed this to happen. Shame on them for letting RINOs like me down.

Please note I am a Republican and fairly conservative on a good number of issues, but I will make sure everyone of my politically apathetic friends and family runs down and votes for a D rather than elect a Buchanan/Paulian/Beckian esque R to office of any kind.

127 Gus  Sun, Aug 15, 2010 11:31:52pm

Speaking of crap. Here's more from American Citizen's Movement that Scott Goldberg is a member of:

CONCLUSION: PC TEACHES THAT A WOMAN SHOULD NOT SUBMIT TO HER HUSBAND AND THAT SHE IS NOT ONLY HIS EQUAL BUT ACTUALLY SUPERIOR TO A MAN. PC TEACHES THAT SUBMISSION IS A BAD THING…A FORM OF ENSLAVEMENT. HER PLEASURE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE RESPONSIBILITY THAT COMES FROM BEING A WIFE AND MOTHER. A WOMAN’S GOALS AND DESIRES ARE THEN THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO BE ACHIEVED.

and

CONCLUSION: PC DENIES THE VALIDITY OF SEXUAL SIN AND BELIEVES THAT A BODY BELONGS TO THE PERSON. WHATEVER SEXUAL PREFERENCE ONE DEEMS IS RIGHT FOR HIM OR HER IS NOT WRONG AND LAWS MUST CONTINUE TO BE CHANGED TO REFLECT THIS “ENLIGHTENED” POSITION.

and

Creation vs. Evolution

Let’s start with creation. The Bible says all things were created by God. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). What does PC say about how mankind came to exist? The PC crowd likes to believe we “evolved” into existence. Evolution is based on the assumption that we are just a product of chance. After all, the theory of evolution (optimum word being THEORY) has proven that there is no God, right? Not so fast! It is a theory…not proven…not fact –but an idea that this is how mankind might, possibly, could have come into existence. Not very convincing, is it? God should not be disregarded based on such a weak theory.

CONCLUSION: PC PRESENTS EVOLUTION AS A FACT — NOT A THEORY — DESPITE NO EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THIS THEORY. IT TREATS GOD AS A FANTASY OF THE MIND. FURTHERMORE, IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION FOR ITS LACK OF PROOF.

More junk from Scott's website:

SG [Scott Goldberg] – The American Citizens Movement is an organization of free thinking citizens located out of New York, with strong ties to Chicago, which promotes creative ideas through filmmaking, literature, music, all tied in to promoting the betterment of American society and political landscape. What we’ve been trying to do with this organization is fund some projects as well as posting alternative news, facts, opinions and information that people might be interested in reading. The name of the organization actually came from a citizen’s movement in the feature length script we’re currently working on, so by the time film gets released, we hope to have a nice amount of citizens who contribute to the site, as well as read the content.

Yeah, here's another excerpt of what he thinks are creative ideas:

There is far too much information to just be a coincidence. Goldman Sachs dumped 44% of its shares in BP Oil during the first quarter of 2010 – shares that subsequently lost 36 percent of their value, equating to $96 million. The current chairman of Goldman Sachs is Bilderberg luminary Peter Sutherland, who is also the former chairman of British Petroleum.

Furthermore, as reported by the London Telegraph on June 5th, Tony Hayward, the current BP CEO sold £1.4 million of his shares in the fuel giant weeks before the spill. Both Goldman Sachs and BP are two major players in the entire Crap and Trade Ponzi scheme. This explosion on the heels of Obama opening up off-shore drilling…I knew it was too good to be true. This disaster was tailor-made for Barack Hussein Obama. Saddle up folks…get ready for crap and trade and much, much more!

There will be an action on Iran. They need another war to fund their agenda…fleet being repositioned as I write this. You probably will not find this in any of our newspapers or news outlets…free press my ass!
...
Plus, Obama should be able to shut down the internet…after all, China can? WTF? Liebermann has gone completely insane! [Link: www.infowars......]

Everything is in place for Marshall Law based on Executive Orders that were started with Bush. We knew the NWO crowd would push forward…Saul Alinsky on steroids people! All of this is diversionary as we are on to them…keep the pressure up!!! -- by fleighton

And it would have to have this scene in it as well:

A burnt our barn, and son is cradling his dying pop, who is bleeding through his ragged bib overalls.

Son: But Pa, Sarah told us we would win! What was this for?

Pa: Son, freedom ain't free son. It doesn't matter what we done. It matters that a few stood up to many.

Son: But pa, pa... we was supposed to git em good!

Pa: Ever since them UN troops came in to reinforce the Gub'mint forces, we was licked. But our spirit will live on! Promise me boy! Promise me!

Son: Promise what pa?

Pa: That you will live on to fight for our constitution another day.
Promise that you will keep America white and Christian in your heart. Because as long as you do, the America the founding fathers believed in will never die.

Pa expires...

Son: Noooooooo! I promise Pa. I promise!

172 Randall Gross  Mon, Aug 16, 2010 5:48:56am

These are some sick mofos. The protagonist in this is every bit a sick sociopath psychosexual sadist. He would fit right in as a villain on Criminal Minds, CSI, Bones, or a number of other shows, or in real life prison if these events or similar ones transpired. He's obviously delusional and infested with paranoia. There are serial killers on deathrow who fit his profile, Ted Kacynski and Ted Bundy move over....

To hold this sick fucking murderer up as some kind of patriot is well beyond the pale. I expected this film to end with the cops arresting the perverted killer and putting him in the looney bin or prison, but no -- it ends with the Citizen's Movement link. These people are not just sick, they are dangerous.

173 gregs  Mon, Aug 16, 2010 7:58:18am

By writing about it you give this retarded film even more press - stimulating conversation makes people want to watch it. Why did you choose to embed the link to film?

It's clear the writer is on the filmmaker's side - especially since the filmmaker called for someone to write a bad review of the film any way.

This is all a scam.

Don't you have anything better to do than stalk LVQ?

See my response to him. If you think about what he writes for a second, that is one of his more humorous posts.

Actually, I'd put what he said at the end of freetoken's thread in that category. If this guy is some kind of paid AstroTurf troll, he sure ain't earning his keep ;)

The astro-turf trolls don't get paid money, it doesn't trickle down quite that far.

That post of yours was a thing of beauty.

RP while you are here, I really want to encourage you to tell your stories of the stalkers in your mini blog. There is really nothing more the stalkers are going to do - or can do. Let them have it. People need a clear picture of just how much the far right is not only filled with scum, but utter losers.

I was explaining last week that we could set a record for earliest below freezing on record above 80 deg N and wanted to let him know it happened.

LVQ you know the DMI temperature chart is where the information comes from. I linked to it. And I said GISSNASA didn't have sensors up there not that there were none. And that is why Hansen using estimates was a crock when DMI has data available he could have used but did not. The Artic above 80 deg N has been below average all melt season and we have had the shortest melt season on record.

You mean they do it for love instead? That makes their lives even more pathetic and meaningless *_*

re: #183 LudwigVanQuixote

Thanks :) Judge Judy has said one reason she's infuriated when people lie is because they're thinking she's dumb enough to believe them. That's exactly how I feel about the right-wing spammer trolls who befoul this board (and others) with their putrid presence.

I am not worried about the stalkers doing anything, they are powerless morally bankrupt trolls. I doubt few of them have lives outside waging their internet propaganda campaign. My concern is that the "stories" may provoke the stalker/trolls into escalating their trolling of LGF. I am not sure Charles would be happy to have even more fetid troll droppings littering his blog.

No, they do it for hate.
The astro-turf spin machine is fueled by anger and hatred.

Show me the data. Just like every other time you have linked to any actual data, I will point out what you misread, misunderstood, cherry-picked, or fabricated.

Of course NASA has many arctic sensors.

Of course GISS uses that input in their temperature analysis.

And, it turns out that we are setting record highs.

IF you look on the page, you can follow links to all of their methodology.

[Link: data.giss.nasa.gov...]

Now it is true, that with the ways that currents work, there are some regions that are cooler than usual. However, taking the whole thing into account shows that as a whole, the globe is warming.

You see, this is what looking at actual data means.

Link whatever it is you are talking about and I will show you why you are wrong.

LVQ just stopped in to say thanks for exposing these NWO and "Oil Spill's a Conspiracy!" assholes, it's well appreciated. Also I do believe that this is the single most commented on Diary thread ever, so you hold the new record, good job.

Just wanted to thank you for this post, as well as point to next year's anti-AGW argument in the making:

...The location of extreme events in any particular month depends on specific weather patterns, which are unpredictable except on short time scales. The weather patterns next summer will be different than this year. It could be a cooler than average summer in Moscow in 2011...

Oh noes; cooler temps in Moscow 2011! "All Signs Point to Global Cooling!

Wait for it...

Hey thank you Shaun. I really appreciate it. As far as the climate denier idiots go, of course they will say that sort of nonsense. Anytime it is cold they say there is no warming. Curiously, when it is hot they still say there is no warming.

Unfortunately, they have no concept of the trends.
