There’s a term for their actions: Frame Flipping.

I think not. Of course black people, and everyone else, have minds of their own. But there are things that are expected of people. Black people, rightfully or not, are expected to vote Dem.

The Loneliness of the “Black Conservative”

There are many more examples. Examine your own expectations. You expect the same, as does Mr. Obama and Mr. Holder, and the numbers support you.

African Americans Crucial to Democratic Victory by Donna Brazile (hardly a white racist) deels with the 2004 election.

More from 2004

And this

When people do not do as they are expected to do, those that follow the norm often become hostile.

So, no it is not racist. We throw that word around way too much.

re: #2 Photios

The first article you cite, I will give the most credit to. But one person’s own experiences hardly describe an entire system of bias.

Your second article says blacks vote Democratic because they deal with the issues that most affect them. Again, blacks voting Democratic isn’t about doing what the left tells them to. It’s about voting for what’s best, not pressure.

Your CNN article also just gives a racial breakdown of votes. It never says anything about succumbing to expectations, and never in any fashion supports what you say.

Your “and this” actually states that young blacks are moving away from Democrats, and it never states expectations for black voters. It simply gives a time table of when they started voting Democratic, right around the time of FDR. This doesn’t show, in any way, that blacks are pressured to vote.

I don’t deny that the pressure to conform is there, but there’s no such thing as the left telling blacks how to vote, which is the rhetoric being passed around. To think that an entire race can simply be told how to vote is demeaning - racist, if you will.
