It’s really kind of inspiring to watch Dawkin’s struggle to understand the concept of the size of the universe. I don’t think Tyson’s explanation was actually the best, since he didn’t make it clear that the person on the ship has no other information about the world, and that that world might not actually go on forever. But still, watching Dawkins having trouble getting to grips with something I understand makes me hope I really did understand his books when I read them.
