Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide: “The U.S. is Now Experiencing the Beginning of its End”
In January 2010, Muhammad Badi replaced Muhammad Mahdi Akef as Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Both Badi and Akef are followers of the Muslim Brotherhood’s radical Salafi-Jihadi ideologue Sayyid Qutb, who was hung by the Egyptian government in 1965 for sedition.
As proof of his sedition, Egyptian prosecutors relied heavily on excerpts from Qutb’s Salafi-Jihad manifeston Milestones.
The January election, which was more like a coup, swept the Brotherhood’s reformers out of power and installed Qutbists in all power positions.
