Sadly, Tru TV (a division of TimeWarner) is also heavily promoting 9/11 truth, via the Jesse Ventura Conspiracy Theory Show...(aka the Alex Jones news hour).

And to think only a couple years ago, Fox News were the enemy of 9/11 Tr00fers.

It's been a slow evolution. They've been slowly indoctrinating their audience to accept anti-government conspiracies for a while now. It's been terribly painful to watch this happening.

4 Kronocide  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 10:24:28am

where is this list of 1300 architects and engineers?

5 nines09  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 10:28:05am

I often wonder how any self respecting "news" organization could justify giving credence to rumor, innuendo and outright lies. Then I realize it's Fox and it's all for fear mongering. That and self reinforcing a twisted corrupt view that serves no purpose but to incite and divide. When two bit loons are presented as reliable sources the stupid is squared. It's overnight radio come big time.

Well now that we know that Barack Hussein Obama the Kenyan born Communist was behind it all along, of course it makes sense now--it's beyond crystal clear. It all coalesces perfectly with the Internationalists, Freemasons, and Jews' plot carry out the new world order. Now that we got the facts straight, it all makes sense...

7 FreedomMoon  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 10:33:33am

And that's why Fox news promotes this loony-bin material, NOW there's a market for this crap. If Obama can become president, it's clear anything can happen. It's skepticism and paranoia on steroids running rampant.

Can we just go ahead and call them Tea Party News Network already?

9 Kronocide  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 11:01:52am

I just spent 20 minutes searching for this list of 1200 or 1300 architects and engineers, could not find. Lots of talk about thermite though. They're all experts on thermite, super thermite, exo thermite. I need to get me some anti-thermite.

re: #9 BigPapa

I'm pretty sure the list of 1300 architects and engineers does actually exist. Which sounds pretty impressive...until you realize that there are 1.6 million engineers ([Link: www.bls.gov...] and over 200,000 architects in the United States.

I'm pretty sure I could get 100,000 to say they believe angels are real...

11 Kronocide  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 11:30:15am

Good point, except I can't find this list. I've been trying. I tried to sign onto it (I'm a 'Project Engineer') but the link doesn't work.

I'd think they would make this list easy to access.

I've come to the same conclusion.

Fox is seeking to capitalize on the exponential growth of the far right anti-war and anti-Israel movements. Rooted in commercial conspiracy theories and Paulian isolatonism, this movement has the potential to do something its leftist counterparts never managed: Gain a mass following in middle America. When they do, they will make ANSWER and Code Pink look like flag-waving jingoists by comparison.

15 Lidane  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 12:14:36pm

They promote this 9/11 Troofer crap and still have the gall to call others unpatriotic. Unbelievable.

I knew the first black President would unhinge some folks, but to seriously swallow all this Troofer garbage wholesale and keep peddling it almost a decade after 9/11 is not only offensive, but insulting.

What far right anti-Israel movement? Didn't you know that the GOP is going to be a check on Obama's Israel hate? Eric Cantor said so.

Cantor is small potatoes. Hell, he's just a Congressman, he doesn't even have his own Fox show.

How many sharks can a network jump before they run out of sharks?

I would have thought that they'd achieve critical mass of craziness before it got this far. Not a single right wing blog is complaining that Fox is promoting 9-11 truth. Drudge has been linking to Alex Jones everyday for almost 2 weeks now and not a single complaint. Their audience just doesn't care.

20 FreedomMoon  Sun, Nov 14, 2010 1:07:14pm

Well as soon a Republican wins the White House, all order will restore itself (in their minds) and magically all doubts will disappear that the government is out to sabotage and deceive us. And with a little hopefulness, the death panels killing the old and weak (again, in their minds) will cease to exist too.

They haven't run out of sharks. Look at all the people they have working for them. =P

Of course they're not. We elected a Seekrit Kenyan Mooslim Nazi Overlord in 2008, so now every conspiracy that they raged against when Bush was in office is suddenly true, including 9/11 being an inside job.

It's that Animal Farm thing. If the lies and conspiracy theories are leveled at someone with four legs, OUTRAGE!

If they are leveled at someone with two legs, well then it must be true.

I was gonna write something like "Given how wingnuts operate (i.e. there is no history before 2009), I bet they will blame it on Obama". But I see I was preempted.

More likely they will blame it on George Soros operatives within the Bush administration.

I see more as a junkie doing what he/she needs to do for their fix. Fox can't simply stand up and tell the loons "You're wrong" without losing them, so they keep getting pushed deeper into the crazy.

Wow. Trying to breath life back into the dead horse of 9-11 truth is a new low even for Fox.
