Well, now I know I’m the right side of the issue.

Duke is nauseating.

Gotta love the Ben Bernancke beard, though. Where can I get one? BTW, someone should tell David Duke that a white beard doesn’t make him sound intelligent even while he is speaking out of his anal orifice.

I wonder when delusional Duke thinks the US was ever ‘beloved’?

Maybe Drudge will start posting David Duke videos now.

Nice touch with the Arabic music at the beginning. What a strange man.

If he and his ilk only wore white sheets through the TSA security lines, it would be so much easier to pat them down. No bulky seams and soforth.

Actually, it sounds like traditional Persian “ney” music. I’m guessing it’s a probably subtle tribute to his BFF Ahmadinejad and their mutual hatred of Israel. He didn’t have the beard when they met up at the Holocaust denial conference back in ‘06, so now I’m wondering if that’s also a symbol of solidarity.

For Mr. Duke to coopt that type of music to promote hate is the height of irony because the ney (reed flute) is traditionally associated with Sufism1, which is all about love, tolerance, and seeking union with God through struggling to purify one’s lower self (ego) of any negative traits.

1. The sorrowful “voice” of the ney is said to be due to its longing to return to its original home (God), from which it was torn when it was fashioned into a musical instrument. See The Song of the Reed poem by Rumi.
