BY the way, this means more precipitation is likely in winter if there is a big storm! Please remember that for when the normal dullards talk about how it is snowing a lot and therefore there can't be AGW.

Wow you are back troll! How are you! So did you see my number one?

I will break this down into the high school level that you might be able to comprehend.

1. When water gets warm some of it vaporizes, and gets swept up into the atmosphere. The warmer the water is the more vapor there will be. This is called vapor pressure.

2. The warmer the air is, the more water vapor it can take up before the vaporized water molecules begin to stick to each other again and form droplets. That is called either raining or snowing (sometimes hail).

3. OK, you with me? This whole thing is called the water cycle. You might look that up, since you failed to learn it in grade school. Whenever there is a lot of water vapor in the air, and there will be because the water and the air are hotter, and then a cold front comes in, the more water thee is to turn to rain or snow or hail.

4. That means you will have more rain or snow or hail.

I realize that since the very thing you think means there is no AGW is actually proof of AGW, you might be having conniptions. But most denier trolls will simply move on to another talking point without acknowledging the facts debunking their first false talking point.

If you have difficulty reading the above explanation, please try it again. I wrote in simple language, that should be understandable even by someone of your very limited intellect.

Waiting for his next talking point. When confronted with simple scientific facts they always move on and pretend the first thrashing didn't happen. Though to be honest with you, that troll post wasn't even Snork level dumb. It was GaryCooper (another banned retard) dumb.

Science is too hard...

I know - I skipped the part about the upper atmosphere being colder and hot vapor rising.

I should not have assumed that he knew that.

I think we scared him off for now. He is logged in. Pity, they whine incessantly over there about wanting to debate me, and they just chicken out.

Once burned, twice shy. I should have known when you asked about those big blades that I had to be making some sort of mistake. Everything I was thinking was off by a linear factor of two.

:-(

the shame of this story is that 2 people from NASA's "Jet Propulsion Lab" are evn looking at this nonsense

why don't they go out and do something jet propulsiony?

gosh, so sorry Ludwig, and there you sat, just waiting to demonstrate your intellectual superiority

and me still considering you full of hot air, a blathering chicken little with a brain full of internet links trying to convince whoever cares to read your latest post that you hold the key to reversing global warming

so tell me:
How do we reverse Global Warming, and what is the perfect optimal temperature for the planet, and how will you achieve stasis?

re: #16 friarstale

So in number six I wrote:

When confronted with simple scientific facts they always move on and pretend the first thrashing didn't happen. Though to be honest with you, that troll post wasn't even Snork level dumb. It was GaryCooper (another banned retard) dumb.

I would rather have you stick to the science for a minute. Let's review:

You were snaking about the lake effect. So lets get the science clear before you move on to other talking points.

As bodies of water get warmer and the atmosphere gets warmer, there is more vapor pressure and the atmosphere can retain more water vapor.

For the water vapor to form droplets, it has to cool to do so. The atmosphere is cooler the farther up it goes - but since the atmosphere is warmer, the water vapor has to go up higher to cool that way. When a cold front does come in, it will rapidly cool a great deal more water vapor in the atmosphere. This means more intense snow storms and rainstorms are possible.

We still do have winter, because of the way the earth orbits (and something to do with the angle of our spin axis being not exactly perpendicular to the plane of the orbit, but I won't confuse you with a discussion of flux).

As to the links,

Those links that I tend to post are from scientific journals, peer reviewed research and the sites of scientific organizations like NASA, NOAA, Princeton University, MIT etc...

Those are for grown ups.

For you, it is more important that you learn something basic, like where rain comes from. You have learned this in grade school. Since you didn't, now is a perfect time.

Why would I give even a throwaway e-mail address to an obvious troll?
