I'm glad to see this, because I claimed Napolitano was a truther a couple of days ago. I wasn't sure it was true (ironically).

P.S. Typo in the tag of Nappy's name.

Thanks, corrected.
He has flirted with 9-11 truth on fox before but has never come out and admitted he's a truther before. I suspect he gave Jones permission to ask him the question since it's now safe for conservatives to come out of the closet on 9-11 truth.

Napolitano sounds more and more fringe.

As in lunatic fringe.

It's really a shame to see Napolitano continue to associate with these guys. I really liked Napolitano, and to a certain extent I guess I still do. I use to count on him to be the voice of reason amongst the rest of FNC's bullshit.

I don't trust the government either. But Trutherism? Kennedy conspiracy? I mean, I think it goes without saying that governments likes war and use fear to consolidate more power. But it's absurd to believe that the U. S. government is staging acts of terrorism around the world to bolster its own interests. Using them, sure. But staging them? No way.

At the start of that video both Jones and Napolitano seem to agree that recent actions of North Korea are acting being staged by the United States government, which wants a war with NK.

Um, come again? Ex-squeeze me? Baking powder? Why on Earth would the U.S. want to trigger a war between the North and South? That would be an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions. Not to mention the fact that of all the countries we could piss off right now, China is probably on the top of the list of countries we don't want really, really, really mad at us.

There is literally no benefit in faking incidents in that region. NK is doing what it always does: sabre rattling that serves both as propaganda and as a means of gaining economic and diplomatic concessions from the west.

Speechless.

So I guess Glenn Beck will come down hard now on Napolitano for being a truther like he did with Van Jones and Debra Medina. /

Napolitano has touted conspiracy theories like these for quite some time now, it's really nothing new:

"I argue that FDR caused Pearl Harbor, that Lyndon Johnson created out of thin air the Gulf of Tonkin, that George Bush knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq [...]"
