Something to smile about. :)

Heh, check out the kid doing the robot while the pastor was talking to the reporter.

re: #1 Romantic Heretic

I'm trying to keep a positive vibe going today. Despite all the awful/crazy stuff that happens everyday, I still think most people are basically decent/sane.

A new tradition is born for these two congregations, perhaps?

5 reine.de.tout  Thu, Nov 25, 2010 8:22:45pm

Folks, notice the tag:
"I bet Pamela Gellar hates this".
LOL.

I hope so. It would be great if they could start a national trend. It might, through example, actually start pushing some strong positive ideas eastward. IMO, that would beat the heck out of passively sitting here hating & fearing the (results of) the negative ideas being pushed westward.

re: #5 reine.de.tout

LOL, I was wondeing if anyone would notice the tag.

Great post. And I responded to you and Marjorie on her thread about Rush Limbaugh.

Thanks again, Ludwig! I answered you there too :)

Great story, CL! I noticed the tag right away LOL

Nice tags. =D

Just like both Christianity and Islam have their ugly extremes, they also have their beauty.

re: #7 LudwigVanQuixote + re: #8 marjoriemoon

Thanks to you two also for the great conversation on marj's page.

re: #9 OrionXP

Heh, yeah. No one forces anyone to take either side. It's purely a matter of free will, so when someone chooses ugly...*shrug* They own it.

I would have loved to have been there. This is my kind of Church. One that not only talks about being Christians, but shows Christian love to those of another faith. Way to go Heartsong Church.

Yes, kudos to Pastor Stone & his congregation. Talk is cheap; these kind souls are walking the walk. The name of their church is apt.

Cordova, TN...I wonder if it the town is named after Cordoba. Corruption of the name perhaps?

Prolly so. The "b" in Spanish can be hard to distinguish from a "v", especially when it's in the middle of a word.

That seems poetic in a way, doesn't it? It seems that the younger city is taking after the older one in some ways.

Oh, regular Fox television, not Fox News.

Here I thought pigs turkeys were actually flying.

Yes, it is. And it all began when the uproar over Cordoba House in NYC started.

LOL, I thought the same thing at first.
