Moscow government permits an anti-Putin protest?
This is from an item at lenta.ru, which relies on the site of the “Committee of five demands” (K-5), an opposition organization. They claim that they have just received the Moscow government permit for a protest in the center of Moscow (on the Pushkinskaya square), 12.12.2010, 16:00.
The name of the protest on the online poster is “I’m for Russia WITHOUT Putin”.
Here’s a video from K-5’s previous protest.
K-5 is sort of an opposition coalition of liberals (left and right) and left-wingers. The demands are:
1. The resignation of the government headed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Now let’s see if the Moscow govt (not to be confused with the Russian govt) suddenly changes its mind.2. The dissolution of both chambers of the Federal Assembly.
3. Holding early elections, free and competitive.
4. Radical renewal of the personnel of police and security services.
5. Transparent budget to serve the people and the country’s development.
